Sonia was pretty decent in Akhaara. Wouldn’t mind her with Wahaj in a show. Likewise I don’t mind Shuja and Shaheera in the same show as Yumna because from what I’ve seen of them they’re solid actors even if they’re not that established yet. Look at ZPKB. That new actor Mubashir Mehmood is winning hearts and half the critics didn’t even know his name. So talent is not limited to A list or any list. Literally any random casting can happen and it can work out

Shuja and shaheera will look like a sibling just like shaheera was with Hamza Sohail on BRKRJ she should paired with Samar Jaffri

If sabeena, Mamaya, Hira, Amar can be paired opposite A list actors then Sonya hussain is much much better and has great screen presence of herione unlike above mentioned actress.

She is wonderful actress. Her work in Ishq zahee Naseeb, Asi hy tanhai was min blowing.

I watched this Drama last year and it was really good off-course it was too depressing but Sonya was too good in this serial. She is really good actress, have expressing eyes and aura of a herione. I just hope she gets a big chance to prove herself. As she deservess it.

Haven’t seen enough of Amar. Hira is good, Mamya Sabeena can have their moments too. But yeah, Soniya is decent. She was also recently casted opposite Feroze.

HAA is very choosy and does only niche projects. Wahaj is only doing commercial projects currently so unless it’s an offbeat project , I doubt a B lister would be cast opposite him.

Yes even Ameer Gilani does the same like HAA

These days every drama takes 8-9 months for its complete shooting but they start airing their episodes before completion. IM, Terebin ,Hasrat, Yunhi, MPHT, Humsafar, Mein, Janejahan, Kuch ankhai were already on air while its some episodes were shoot after it.

Its a good approach for a drama other than holding a drama too long. Or at least start promoting your show when its about to on air So that fans don't ask for its quick release.

6-9 months is now standard shooting schedule for ptv dramas. Watch Obi's iv where he is talking KD shooting schedule was and how tiring it is now for actors to do dramas and why we see less of him.

JSA took Haseeb 9 months. Gentleman's shooting started in July/August 2023, but we saw that there were shoots going on in early June. The Tere Bin shoot took 9 months. IM shoots started in May 2023 and only wrapped up in February 2024. KMKT shoots started at the same time as SMD and are still continuing. Siraj shot Sukoon until February 2024, as you can see from his IG, although the first look dropped in July 2023. Radd started shooting in Aug 2023 and Arsalan was sharing pics with Hiba from the set even in Feb 2024. JBHSSL ki shooting has been going on since August 2023 at least (that's when Skardu BTS came) and still going on now even though it's only a limited 8-12 episode series not a 30-40 episode run like GEO dramas. Jafaa started shooting even before Fairy Tale and was still shooting until last month (May 2024). There are so many other examples I can cite. Only miniseries and Ramzan dramas take less time to shoot.

Various factors determine shoot time. First, shooting spells are not continuous and are spread over months to accommodate cast and crew schedules. Haseeb lives in Dubai, so his shooting spells are usually spaced apart a lot with lots of breaks in between. In fact, Wahaj has had so many weeks even months without any shooting that some in SMD DT were speculating he doesn't have enough screentime. Second, the bigger the ensemble, the more schedules to juggle and the longer it could take for shoots. While Wahaj may be doing one show, other actors in SMD were shooting other shows in parallel. Hira shot for JSPJ same time. Usama had multiple engagements, including Ghair shoots, Eid telefilms, and Nayab promotions. Maya shot for JBHSSL, and Amar was shooting that Junaid Khan drama as well. Some dramas also complete shooting before they are aired, while others continue to do shoots while the project is on air (such as IM).

SMD started shooting end Nov so we are 7 months done which is well within the norms for the industry. Finishing up projects in few days like Akshay Kumar is an outlier not the benchmark.
