This is actually a pretty thought provoking question.

1) Ravan made an elaborate strategy after weighing the pros and cons.

He acknowledges that Ram has strength .

2) He being Rakshas, deceit is his first way and lawful war last.

3) He tells Marich that separated from Sita, Ram would be weak and then it would be easy for him to kill Ram.

( I think Ravan did understand that Ram would give him a tough fight , So he found an easy and a more cruel way out .He would have never imagined that Ram would bother to come all the way to Lanka building a bridge for the sake of one woman . Similarly he would have thougt Sita having no hope that Rama would find her would be coaxed into becoming his queen )

Point , though Krishna ji was good Ruler too (there was no King but more of a leader kind of thing was there), dwaraka was like the best city he built with Vishwakarma ji when he with his people shifted from Mathura to Dwarka. And I think that's the point Krishna ji always showed everyone that he's the lord of Universe he can do miracles. He made himself known.

Ram ji never once did that and always remained in his human form only. That's why the way he ruled Ayodhya was considered the epitome of ruling a Kingdom. I don't think there's a thorough description of Ram Rajya in Ramayan (I could be wrong) but very brief descriptions about how no one was sad or depressed during Ram Rajya and how everyone were in state of pure bliss.

Tells us about the different worlds existing at a same time, In Ayodhya no one could believe that relationships are a game but in Lanka they did, In Ayodhya, Family was irreplaceable and in Lanka it was easily replaced, Ravan 's definition of love was everything except love and for Siya-Ram, the definition of love was Siya-Ram only

Well Ramji knew this world doesn't need a God but a man to live in a best way possible and Krishna knew if you want to survive in this world, you need to be more powerful than the other person, he had to fight the world from the moment he took birth, Ramji knew what was peace and stability and Krishna knew peace doens't come easily

Bold - yup šŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ

Ram ji also knew bhay bin hoye na preet but the thing is ram ji took birth in treta yugšŸ˜… where good was good and bad was bad so problem was Ravan only

In dwapar there was grey and grey, all warriors had an ego be it Pandavas or Kauravas, sabko apne karm ka phal mil raha tha they were facing consequences of their own action. Tab hi to kuch log abhi bhi Kauravas se sympathy rakhte hai, but then Krishna ne bhi Bahut kuch face Kiya th from his childhood but never once he went on wrong path and the same he said to Karna as well ki life's unfairness does not give you lisence to walk on the wrong path.

Imagine Kalki jab aayenge tab kya hoga 😌
