At times, like when he said India was not safe and was given death threats for it.

But he is not a good person at heart. What he did to his first wife with Kiran Rao. I felt no sympathy for Kiran Rao when Aamir repeated the process but with Fatima Sana Shaikh. Now Kiran had aged up and there was a new Kiran who did to her what Kiran did to Reena. Very despicable behavior and why I don't see him as a saint at all. No matter what heroes of social progress he plays onscreen, I can never forget the type of man he is in real life.

And who was portraying Queen Padmavati? When they are calling for her nose to be cut off or her head to be claimed for $1.5 m, do you think they are asking for Padmavati's head? It's Deepika's head they are cutting off for Padmavati's sake. They are not vilifying Padmavati but Deepika herself because they feel she has wronged Padmavati.

But I will agree that SRK gets extra hate for his religion. While there are many superstar Muslim stars, there are so far no female ones.
