I think that horrible film has enough attention as it is and I've made my point about it on several threads now. But I certainly think there's merit in pointing out that this film has become a cultural war between progressive and regressive India and this one film has been responsible for setting back 30-40 years of Hindi cinema and any bit of progress that has been made along the way.
Ranbir is a serial philanderer. They have no value to society. All they do is spread disease, cause heartbreak, and father misbegotten children in the world's most populated country which doesn't need any more extra mouths to feed as it is. In the grand scheme of things, the humane thing to do would be to lock him up or put him down like a dog. The pain he caused Deepika (and later Katrina) is something almost every woman has experienced or will experience in the world. He is not alone but above all men, he has chosen to embody those toxic behaviors and become its avatar so it becomes important to wage war upon such evil to make sure its darkness never taints good loving souls ever again.
