Again, showing something is not endorsing something …if a women is shown attempting to mend a relationship because she is invested in it for whatever reason (love, kids), that’s not a sign of her weakness ….or subservience …showing this is not mysoginy particularly given the woman gets a very lengthy and elaborate scene to express her anguish …and even makes a decision to leave the relationship she’s given everything to

Trying to 'fix' a domestic abuser who uses sexual coercion (showing titilating videos when she gets angry) is not a sign of love or strength or normalcy. It's a deeply traumatised and abused psyche.

Domestic abuse is a penalised crime in India. Which this films fails to show and hence not demonising the said abuser.

Yep it’s deeply traumatised and a toxic relationship …which dosent hold and splits and breaks apart …as it should …I.e a consequence

You did not compare this to john wick lol.

John Wick is set in a hyperreal mafia set-up. Furthermore, he is a assassin-by-trade. It isn't glorified, it is just a matter of fact. It shows very little of actual relationships, or people for that matter.

That franchise makes no commentary on gender roles. If anything, it casted trans actors in very power roles. John Wick is comparable to this film as much as harry potter is lol

Errr yeh except I never mentioned anything abt the trans or gender depictions and what not

It’s a film that is set in a space where law and order does not exist
