A video allegedly featuring Shalini Pandey has been circulating on social media, prompting the Arjun Reddy actress to issue a clarification. Shalini has stated that the clip is AI generated and does not feature her.

Taking to social media, the actress addressed the video and urged users to avoid contributing to its circulation. “I want to address a fake, AI-generated video of me that is currently being circulated online,” she wrote.

Shalini made it clear that the content being shared does not depict her. “The video is completely fabricated and does not depict me,” the actress stated.

She also expressed concern over the growing misuse of artificial intelligence to create fabricated content involving individuals. Highlighting the impact such material can have, Shalini said, “It is deeply disturbing to see technology being misused in this way to target and harm individuals, especially women.”

The actress further appealed to social media users to act responsibly if they encounter the video. She specifically asked people not to download or circulate the clip, as doing so could increase its reach. “If you come across this video, please do not share, forward, download, or engage with it. Instead, please report it immediately,” Shalini wrote.

Her statement comes as AI generated and manipulated videos continue to raise concerns about online harassment and the spread of misleading content. Shalini stressed that users should avoid amplifying such material and instead report it through the appropriate platforms.

The video circulating online allegedly showed a woman in a compromising situation, with claims that the person was Shalini. The actress has categorically denied being the person shown in the clip and described the video as fabricated.

Shalini Pandey made her acting debut with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2017 Telugu film Arjun Reddy, where she starred opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The film brought her wider recognition.

She has since worked across Telugu, Hindi and Tamil cinema. Her credits include Mahanati, 118, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Maharaj, Rahu Ketu and Idli Kadai.

Through her clarification, Shalini has asked social media users to refrain from giving the fake video further visibility and to report it instead.
