For me, Ananya, Menuka & Dipan were too good. Great performances by these three!

I wholeheartedly enjoyed this episode! Having the 90's queens like Sadhana ji and Anuradha Ji was so great that I didn't want the show to end!

Is it just me who felt the band completely ruined Ananya's performance yesterday? It felt completely under rehearsed. I felt like Ananya was about to do the breathing expression after Ouch from Dhak Dhak but the band started playing the music without giving her a gap and then Ananya started singing abruptly. Also the band was playing the song faster than Ananya was singing and in the middle they suddenly slowed down to match her which was again very abrupt. Didn't like her performance much. It was too high pitched for my liking.

I loved Dipan, Shubhodeep and Menuka yesterday. Especially Shubho and Menuka were amazing. I loved how Menuka sang two different songs differently with Chup Ke Se being more lighter and softer than she usually sings and the other a bit more like how she originally sings. I liked that little display of versatility she showed. Though from singing perspective, I liked the contestants on Saturday more than Sunday overall.

And they gave Menuka that spot. And she not only lived up to it, she took it to another level. Seeing legends like Anuradha and Sadhana ji crying and showing her so much love and respect is all you need to know about the level of singer that Menuka is. It's beyond winning the trophy at this point. She's transcended this show. Her performances are events of their own accord.

THIS! Exactly this! Her voice transcends everything. Every contestant this season is good but there is just some other level of honesty and spirituality in her voice. I've always heard judges telling contestants how their voice is like a means of talking to god- I find Menuka's voice exactly that. I sometimes do feel angry when they keep on showing the guests and judges crying while she performs but then once her performance gets over, I realize I myself have a lump in my throat. She is magical. I'm so glad Indian Idol gave her this platform. It's even more overwhelming for me because when she came for auditions I really thought she was just brought in for TRPs and probably wouldn't sing that great and then she opened her mouth and the rest is history!

How did I forget Adya- how beautifully did she sing yesterday in the show! 😍 It is now one of my favorite performances of hers apart from Wo Tere Mere Ishq she sang on IBD. I didn't like it then but I heard it again a while back and fell in love with it. I'm a bit disappointed with the unequal distribution of singing time though. The contestants clearly aren't getting the same time and it's not uniform. Some are singing two songs while others performances are too short like Adya's yesterday.

That contestants not getting equal time is bothering me too. Everyone should get equal oppurtunity and if you want to give two songs than give it to everyone with equal amount of time duration.I mean they are not doing that extra nonsense so I think in 60-70 minutes and 7 contestants per day would be enough time for everyone.

I hope like last episode, Maithili gets to sing some more such melodious songs. She can do good in soft songs.
