Trisha Krishnan blushes after fan mentions Thalapathy Vijay during Karuppu screening

Actor Trisha Krishnan once again found herself at the centre of online discussion after a video from the screening of Karuppu in Chennai surfaced on social media. The actor attended the special screening on Friday along with director RJ Balaji and actor Karthi, where fans gathered in large numbers outside the theatre.

The viral moment took place while Trisha was leaving Rohini Theatre after the screening. Dressed in a black T shirt and jeans, the actor was seated inside her car when a fan standing near the vehicle shouted, “Send my regards to Thalapathy Vijay.” Reacting to the comment, Trisha smiled and replied, “Definitely,” before briefly lowering her head and looking at her phone.

Videos of the interaction quickly spread online, with several users discussing her reaction and expressions after Vijay’s name was mentioned. The actor was later seen waving at fans while continuing to smile before leaving the venue.

Trisha and Vijay have remained in headlines for several months because of ongoing dating rumours. Speculation intensified earlier this year after reports linked the actor’s name to discussions surrounding Vijay’s personal life. However, neither Trisha nor Vijay has publicly addressed or confirmed the rumours.

Recently, Trisha was also seen attending Vijay’s swearing in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his party secured victory in the 2026 state elections. The actor arrived at the event alongside her mother, Uma Krishnan, and was photographed among guests attending the ceremony at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.

Last week, Trisha had also drawn attention after reports claimed she visited Vijay’s residence in Neelankarai shortly after the election results were announced. The visit reportedly coincided with the actor’s birthday celebrations.

On the professional front, Trisha is currently busy promoting Karuppu. The film has generated strong buzz ahead of release and marks another major Tamil project for the actor. Meanwhile, Vijay continues balancing his political responsibilities after formally entering politics through his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam while remaining one of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars.
