Uff Piyush! What an amazing performance!! He himself got emotional in the middle and his voice started shaking but kudos to him to the way he controlled it. Had tears in my ears.

Didn't know Sanya and Fatima aren't able to talk Thanks to Sony and Indian Idol for turning them mute.

They are the dangal girls. Been quite a while now, they have done many films especially Sanya.

I don’t watch Hindi movies much so don’t know and I haven’t watch dangal yet. I guess that probably why side line kiya hoga ya or maybe editor is not doing their job properly.

I am not a professional music critique so people might be different opinion. I just wrote what I felt so here it is.
Everyone was so good today especially Piyush Sandese aatein hai has been always one of my favorite song and I don’t think I would ever feel bored with this song.

From last week they are trying to bring out Mahima’s versatility and I think she did really good here hope she continues like this.

Vaibhav was good to he is also growing on me. Anjana was good to got a different song from her genre more soft and I think she did pretty good too.

Surinder was good it was something different this time. I think he did well too.

Utkarsh is really good with high notes and he was amazing on them. I think he also got little different song from his usual singing. I don’t know maybe I am being biased but I really want this kid to do well in the show. There’s something about his singing so I really hope he gets suitable songs and as well as tries different kind of songs.

Really enjoyed today's episode. Straight to the point without any nonsense time waste. Can expect the ratings to dip further because of this. I don't think anyone gave a bad or underwhelming performance today. I have seen a lot on social media about how this season we don't have supremely talented/star singers but I actually like that the most about this season. We are so used to listening to seasoned singers as contestants that sometimes we forget the point of these reality shows was to train good singers to become better and give them a platform and not have overly trained and seasoned singers participate. And the results showed, a LOT in today's episode. Almost every contestant sang out of their comfort zone, they were given songs that are ideally not heard in their voice. Like who would imagine Mahima getting Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo? And Utkarsh getting Maa Tujhe Salam?

And just look at the change in the confidence of the contestants compared to the audition round. People like Surinder, Mahima, Piyush- the silent ones: they are not singing, they are slowly performing the songs. And this is exactly what I was missing for a long time on reality shows because we would mostly have ex contestants of reality shows participating every year. So lovely to see the growth in the contestants. My favorites today were Piyush, Utkarsh and Vaibhav followed by Muskaan. Even Anjana was good but somehow I'm still not able to relate to her voice yet. I don't know why but her childhood voice is so stuck in my head that I always relate Anjana to her old performances as a child.

Now coming to the complaints, one big complain I have been having is the band. Have been noticing from the mega auditions but I've still not been able to warm up to the band. I sometimes feel they didn't have enough rehearsals with the singers because sometimes there are synchronisation problems between their beats and the contestants singing. Also the chorus is TOO LOUD and TOO MUCH for my liking. Sometimes the chorus sings more than the contestant themselves like it happened with Adya once. No fault of the contestants- they are as always fab even in chorus but I find the arrangements often quite disappointing.

So agree with you everything you said I’m really loving this season. I guess people loves those dramas and stuff like fake cringe love story and all. I am really glad that’s not happening this season so far and I hope makers continue like this.
I have also read comments in social media like YouTube and instragram that they are finding this season underwhelming than last season but to me it’s opposite. Altgr knows that I left the show after grand premier but watch bit in middle that was also because SS kids were performing.
I am actually loving that they are pushing contestants to sing different songs and coming out of comfort zone and contestants are doing great job in that. Contestants are starting to perform from the 3rd week of competition only which is a really commandable

I am noticing that too about band like last week I couldn’t hear Adya properly because chorus was loud and it overpowered her singing and band was not great either.

I really hope rating goes up otherwise makers will go back to same old strategy which I don’t want at any cost.

Piyush was really good. Roop Kumar Rathod songs suit his voice and singing perfectly.

Utkarsh and Vaibhav are doing very well.

This season I like almost all the contestants but I have no favourites yet.

One interesting thing I feel about this season is that all the contestants are almost on the same level. Their genres and singing styles may be different but I don't find a huge gap between any two contestants. That's why it's difficult to predict eliminations as well as finalists.

But one thing is sure that I am not enjoying this season as seasons 10, 12 & 13. Everything is good but still something is missing which I am not able to figure out.
