I think in Ghum the same thing might happen. Ishan will make a fake promise to Savi and then later he will marry her so that he could make her dance to his tunes. He might even fake his love for her so he can trap her. And, after marriage he will destroy her dream of becoming an IAS.

You mean even after falling in love with her he will not allow her to meet her Isha Mam. I don't know what kind of love does these ITV male leads have towards their heroine.

He falls first. He gets over possessive about the FL, even accuses her of being interested in the police officer. Doesn't like her meeting Isha/mother.

Yes! He won't allow her to meet his mother post marriage. When things go wrong in the bhosale house post marriage, the mother comes back claiming her rights because the FL will be suffering due to Akka. The hero throws her out of the room for allowing his mother or rather supporting her to stay in their house.

He is a huge huge red flag. Still she falls for him and marries him just to suffer.

Savi has suffered since she came to Nagpur. I would wish to see her happy atleast after her marriage. You make my heart sink.

Ghum so far imo is picking the better parts of Mohor & Swabhiman & just a tiny bit of SAAKK. Ishaan is actually much softer version of the male lead in Swabhiman or maybe the credit goes to the execution here.

In other versions, the male lead far worstly character assassinated or humiliated female lead. Hope they will keep it soft here like so far. But yes don't expect them to leave the toxic bits either because that's what all Ghum Ganja is about.

Also while the spoilers supposedly mentioned all the "worst" parts out for Ishaan, but they failed to include the good bits too like the bits where he will support her against his family or where he throws his Akka out after learning reality in one case.

Glass can always been seen as half empty or half full. Depends if you have made up your mind to only pre maturely hate the character or wait for the journey and then make the judgement.

I love the way season 2 has progressed this far.in a way I like the flawed Ishaan as much as I love Savi. Thank you for reminding the objectivity that is needed in liking or hating a character.
