Today we are appreciating the actresses from time passed, than we we did back then. In 20 years time.. the next gen will feel the same for Jahnvi.

That is true. Mark my words, Suhana is the next Alia, they are going to pull out every PR strategy in the world to make her forcibly click. I am sure her whole career is planned out. I wonder who they will compare her to since Alia is Meryl Streep.

Alia was just the rehearsal.....Suhana Khan and then in the future Roohi Kapoor. Thats the plan.

My issue is that she has been given a chance since the beginning of her career. She has not managed to give a solid performance where she was not outshined by the supporting cast. Once again her face is wooden, she lacks confidence in front the camera, and her delivery is pretty flat. I mean I would rather have a girl be natural looking. Jahnvi's face from certain angles is just very weird and artificial looking.

Alia has no screen presence for me.. but sometimes she acts good. Darlings, she was brilliant. But she's not actress material looks wise.

I prefer Jahnvis acting over Sonams any day. I have no hope from Ananya at all.

When SRK came in deewana.. I actually cried. (I was pretty young). I couldn't believe that they brought that to the screens. For me that was the day Bolly deteriorated. In time he looked better. In time he acted better... for me... He's still not an actor whose acting is of personal taste. But look where he is today. Hes worked hard for it. Bec of him today guys with unconventional good looks have entered the industry and shown their talent. So his entry opened the doors in a way for others like him.

We watch English films right? Main lead is mostly ugly and plain Jane..but we watch for the story right.

Watch the movie for the story. Acting makes it better, but plotline is always the thing one wants. I don't watch an Akki movie if I dont like the plotline.

Movie dekhne ka, popcorn khane khaa, relax hoke, so jaane kaa .. bas. Tension nahin lene ka.

Shahrukh got acclaim pretty early on in his career. Be it Baazigar or Darr. He might not have been great looking but he was very charismatic. Almost like Obama but Obama is probably more handsome. He was first appreciated in negative roles then romance. No nepo kid has that type of charm about their aura. IMO !

I think we are too busy concentrating on nepotism.

Like.. it is what it is. We can't really control it.

I prefer to just not bother watching a movie for xyz reasons, rather than watch and get annoyed.

For me acting talent fell down a notch with SRK with the constant.. mmmmm,aaaaa,bbbb,kkkkk

But people enjoyed it. I didn't. But I take it film by film.. appreciate the good in him.

Why do we have to put the pressure on actors to give hits? What do we get out of it I get nothing. When Salman gets box office hits. But people will say it's not for his talent.

I see your point. Best to make peace with nepotism then cause our selves extra anxiety over it. Nothing is going to change anytime soon. Hopefully in our lifetime Bollywood will go back to having the Hema, Rekha, Madhuri and Sridevis. Same with male talent. It is what it is for now.

Contrary to popular opinion here, I don't think she has gotten surgery anywhere other than her face.

B4U movies for some reason keeps replaying "Masterji", and Sridevi's voluptuous figure made me conclude Jahnavi's taken after her. Didn't RGV lust over Sridevi... So I think Jahnavi is naturally well endowed.

If anything, I sympathise with her "popping out", maybe it's the 3rd week of her cycle...
