Have watched him in ipknd, he was fine in it.

I thought this Mombatti guy took retirement.

Can't forget those soapti threads.

Never understood the 'soaptea' hate, guess it's just the whole "Indian TV actors are untouchables" act of this forum. Even though he looks better than the likes of Ranbir and Varun.

Did find him pretty hot with the facial hair, never understood a single thing he said though. Just like SSR, good at emoting but mumbles the dialogues.

I wanted to give him a chamaat in the first season of Asur. 😆Could not understand half the stuff he said in the first season. I had to turn on subtitles whenever he spoke. He's better in the second season though, although I've not finished watching it. In Kohrra, he took me out of the seriousness of watching the show. He was albeit better but my god, as soon as he opens his mouth I would burst out laughing.

I feel he has great comic timing and is better suitable for light hearted comic roles. I liked him as Shravan. Only watched few scenes of IPK (didn't like it). That's where he shines. No idea why he's inserting himself in these serious katal, himsa, and peeda kinda roles.

Oh man you are making me feel guilty now,you are right about how generally tv actors are treated here,though in my defense I may not be a big fan of barun but there are many tv actors I find great,and I don't even think all bw actors are better than all tv actors.Barun himself is a better actor than certain actors in BW.

BW viewers don't even respect Pooja Sharma's draupadi(while wishing for the likes of Deepika P to play that character)

Who are they? I am guessing one of them could be Rajiv Khandelwal, he's one TV actor 'respected' in this forum

Rajeev is so overrated for sujal n even generally,people just hype him up for nostalgia and make it seem like he was leaps and bounds ahead of other romantic heroes of tv.Even in that web series he did with divyanka it was a very different role for him and he couldn't pull it off.

I like Pooja Sharma,ashish Sharma,ksg,sanaya,jennifer,harshad Chopda,ahem Sharma,sriti jha etc.

I don't mean to say these actors haven't floundered,some may have tendency to over do it,some may have bad dialogue delivery or be unnatural sometimes but they are also good/very good/great.

Even barun has had his moments but I think he is a lot more inconsistent and unremarkable than these actors.
