None of the current actresses have the spunk to pull off Barbie. Besides why would Indian audience even show any interest if it were made here? Barbie was never big in India

🙄 Me n all my friends n cousins had at least one as a kid. And even now there r little girls around playing with a Barbie..along with her whole Barbie world

Barbie was an upper class toy in India limited to urban places. If you played with it as a kid then good for you. The same doesn't apply to everyone.

Honestly, I didn't/don't find Indian Barbies as sugary/shallow looking as the US Barbie versions...I only changed my mind (about US Barbie) after having watched some Barbie movies and Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde 😃
