Hey Vidhi! Loved your answer! I wonder why people are not broadminded enough to accept other opinions. And I totally agree that these shows have an impact on the public perception. As you mentioned there are lots of youngsters out there who watch this show along with their mom's grandmas etc. Showing this type of male chauvinist content will only make them accept that this is the right way of doing things and these youngsters will fail to recognise abuse and will accept the same and suffer in the long run because they feel that this is right. Hence it is very essential to flag such content (for eg rape attempt, not allowing the FL to continue studies or work etc) on social media. People saying / arguing that others don't perceive the rape attempt shown earlier as an attempt to rape is extremely wrong for this reason. I just hope people do realise this and stop glorifying such rape attempts in the future. Both the producers/creatives and audience all included.
In fact I would suggest you post this on insta or Twitter to gain more visibility.
I don't want people to agree with me. They just need to allow others to exist respectfully. But again.. It was said I take my peace of mind above everything and you should too. Of course one should prioritize his/her/their mental health. But here it gives a hint that their peace of mind is disturbed because of my comments. And I only writing these posts because my peace of mind is disturbed? Again.. this is very passive aggressive (and patronizing) way to say someone to not write anything that doesn't suit their way of thought.
Kitna justification hai hamare yaha? I wonder ki social media ke alava hamara kahi aur dhyan jata bhi hai. By the way... Mai ye sab kisi social change ke liye nahi likhti (wo bahut baad ki baat hai). First of all, women khud hi abuse ko abuse nahi maan rahi, to wo khud dusro ko kya badlengi?
Twitter par campaigning ki baat kar rhi hain ye log? Ye ek fringe group hai, jyadatar paid aur fake name wale account. Ek narrative ko jitne log tweet karte hain, usse kahi jyada log uske different narrative me tweet karte hain. Isse show ki publicity hoti hai. Ulta kuch nahi hota. Twitter koi protest ki jagah nahi hai. Waise bhi aajkal to politician bhi hamesha Twitter par paaye jate hain.
Dusro desho me logo me jo jagrukta hai, uska 1% bhi hamare yaha nahi hai. Different section ke liye different log likhte hain.
Aur rahi baat changes ki... To ekdam se radical change ki kaun baat kar raha hai? Ye to logical fallacy hai. Ki ek choti si cheez par baat ki jaye to aap us par baat karne ki bajay ek dusra bada mudda la de!
Balika Vadhu jab air hota tha to mamla Sansad tak pahuch gya tha. Makers ko story badalni padi, aur uske Karan Jagiya aur Anandi ki shadi ko tutate dikhaya. Kyonki child marriage ka glorification ho Raha tha.
Log jab continuous Facebook/Instagram par apne regular ID se likhte hain, aur khasakr jinki acchi khasi following ho tab changes hote hain.
Mujhe ITV se disturbance sabse jyada isliye hai kyonki ise dekhne Wale us class ke log nahi hain jo influence rakhte hain.
Baki GenZ to ITV ke content ko meme banakar aur popular karta hai. Wo to ise "jaahilo" ka content kahkr is par hansta hai aur aaram se OTT ke content dekhta hai.
Halanki maine kisi change ke context me baat hi nahi ki thi. Kyunki wo sab bahut dur ki baat hoti hai. Mera to maksad tha ki kam se kam koi baat to shuru ho. Aisa na ho ki kahi kuch bhi baat nahi ho.
Ye Aaj ek ajeeb passive generation hai, jise khud to chup rahna hai, dusro ko bhi chup karana hai. Are aap shant raho na...aapse koi umeed nahi kar raha. Lekin aap dusro ko kuch kahne se kyo rahe? Iska hak kisne diya?
I mean... Mere critique se logo ka peace of mind bigad raha!! Kamal hai.
