Yeah umm no…more like she finally realized that she cannot achieve big hits on her own without piggybacking on big male stars and big directors because she has no star power which has been proven with the failure of her solo films in recent times. So she finally got off her high horse and stopped being arrogant and decided to eat humble pie in order to salvage her own career. She just can’t have her own cake and eat it too

This. She never said she should be paid as much as the big senior stars. It's with the leading men of her gen , the ones who are the same standing with her. Like padmavati, when both the men where pretty with her in terms of box office success.

She should definitely be paid more than Vicky, sid chaturvedi, sidmal, VD and the likes. Even Ranveer and Shahid would/should be as much as her.

Big B, KH are in a different league, especially KH who gave Vikram recently. Prabhas, meh.

First of all, why on earth would any producer want to pay 150 Crore to Prabhas, especially after the debacle of his last 3 films.

Why can't these trolls raise their voice against Prabhas, or the producer for the pay parity?

Unfortunately, people have made Pay-parity a gender issue.

Pay-parity could be between anyone...It could be between 2 men OR 2 women as well, as wonderfully said by Vidya and Shefali Shah in one of their interviews.

In reality it is more of Power dynamics thing. Those who have more power/authority tend to get paid more for doing the bare minimum, which is the main issue.

Side note. Deepika (and Alia) deserves more money than Ranveer for Baiju Bawra because she is the bigger draw here.

Prabhas gets paid 160 Crore! For 1 movie? 19.5million usd?! Woah!
