Prabhas ko black money white karne mein use kar rahe hai kya? Why is he getting paid so much? Baahubali ko release ho kar zamaane ho gaye!

Prabhas gets paid for huge openings. Adipurush opened to 76 Crores with that shit trailer and people knowing already the movie is bad.

Saaho opened to 87 Crores. Also I saw a comment which said this movie was signed in 2020. Before the release of Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. Makes sense.

It depends on who is playing the central character of the movie the budget and the market of the said star.

Post Baahubali Prabhas's market has grown exponentially. He pulls people into theatre all over India and that is evident from the initials his movies make.

This movie is panned with Prabhas and all the other stars including the female lead are added on later. It is actually riding on his shoulders.

Same thing goes with female oriented film where the actress who's playing the title character gets the remuneration because she is shouldering the film.

A heroine can't demand the same pay as a hero who is actually shouldering the movie in a male centric story.

Actresses like Nayan Tara Anushka Shetty who actually are doing a lot of female centric films and carrying the film on their shoulders don't talk about pay parity because they know what the meaning of pay parity is.

Female centric films do not have a big market so the pay also will be according to that budget.

You pick and choose your battles. It's not a one size fits all approach. Pay parity doesn't mean being paid the same amount with no respect to seniority, marketability and the overall audience they bring to the table.

Do you go to your office and demand to be paid just as much as your boss because you work just as hard as them? You demand to be paid equal to your peers (at your job level), even here some industries take into account seniority, projects delivered, publications in journals (for academia).

It's wrong for RS and DP to be not paid the same amount. But Prabhas has been in the industry longer, has delivered numbers that other actors could only dream of, has marketability to the level that total crap like Adipurush opened to 60+. Can we say the same for DP? Anushka Shetty who's probably delivered the most successful women centric movies till recently puts it eloquently in one of her interviews about pay parity about the same.

If it is anything like Alia's role in RRR, then 1 crore per minute is not a bad deal at all😆.

But how is Disha getting paid more than Deepika?
