Yes, I think Akshara was happy. I think she expected this as she knows how Abhinav is.

IRL, I would say be practical and take whatever you get materially to get Abhir. Here, I am convinced by Abhinav that if he can't be the person he is, then he will break. He was willing to take money for Abhir's surgery but cannot take a lifelong income. I kind of like that the ultimate decision will be between Abhinav as he is and Abhimanyu as he is and not Abhinav trying to be someone else. If Abhinav has to be rich to get Abhir's custody, then riches > everything else, then might as well Abhimanyu get the custody.

😆 It's an ITV show. Best not to think anything too deep as the makers won't as well. They will keep changing tracks and their meaning as per TRPs. Atleast that's what I remind myself when I start getting even more involved. 😆

Precap part - I am happy to read your POV as I don't like Abhimanyu and don't see things from neutral perspective. I was like how many times to explain to him that Abhinav isn't trying to snatch his son. That's peobably because he didn't listen to Akshara that Kairav initiated this, not AkshNav.

I am not clear about Abhimanyu's thinking because he was waiting for Abhir's surgery to tell the truth to him. He did tell Abhir that he was not returning to Kasauli. That didn't seem like a good thing to me. Whether Abhimanyu would have filed for sole or joint custody or not taken the legal route at all is open to interpretation now. If it were sole custody, then I would say he would be snatching Abhir away.

Agreed, I don’t like abhiM but he gets his share of calling out his mistakes and realisations when compared to other shows. Ghum mei tho the victims are always always the Chavan family, in whichever situation whatever permutation and combination ,they are always the victim and this narrative has been going on for long. Maybe that’s why I feel abhiM gets his fair share of karma in yrkkh only in comparison to the previous show. Atleast he got called out properly with proper dialogues multiple times, and he himself realised that he has no chance with akshara cos of his horrible behaviour . I am not saying this is enough, but atleast there is some realisation. He has the proper guilt when he faces abhiN, he is not being physically violent. I know the bar is pretty low, but abhiM is getting his due. Today’s episode HC ka face expression wasn’t open, he was guarded.

I watch yrkkh for Sharma family, I am not too addicted to this show so I can be somewhat neutral. if akshnav are there for thr longer run I will continue to watch. I don’t want to watch Nibba nibbi kind of romance with no depth.

I agree with your post. Abhimanyu does get called out for his actions in the show and I feel he isn't totally black. Yes, he does feel guilty, he does try to change himself when he gets that realisation.Virat in Ghum is a next level psycho villian and so far comparisons between Abhimanyu and Virat are unfair to Abhimanyu.
