No super rich families, no stunning good lookers, no lavish sets/costumes/jewels, above all NO popular star cast, not Turkish/Korean remake 😳Sapnon Ki Chhalaang is built on some relatable flawed characters with real situations, when a career aspiring, middle class girl, an IT merit graduate from Jhansi, UP lands in metro city Mumbai after being selected in popular IT company & has to live alone away from her conservative joint family.

Some scenes of Sapnon Ki Chhalaang are well shot in real Mumbai railway stations, roads, places with crowds around, though its not easy. Few scenes were unexpected to watch on prime time TV. (e.g. monthly periods)

Radhika & her families apprehensions, anxieties, prejudices, struggles, goof ups exposing them to Mumbai shocker lifestyle, has so far been shown in realistic manner.👍🏼

Episode clips available on Sonyliv & Youtube too, give a try if you haven't. This serial does not come under typical romance or family or office dramas, nor is leads chemistry centric😎 but has potential to attract educated young audience, hence Sony needs to promote it quite well in different cities.

I am liking this show. It kind of resonated with me when I joined my first job just after college days and went out of home for first time..😊. It is kind of relatable in ways.. being from IT background myself and from a small city too. However as a serial it is got to have its own dramatic twists and turns but I am enjoying it 👍🏼. Also I recently lost my mother to illness , this bond between Radhika and her mother is really sweet to watch and makes me miss my mom too. You know her importance only when you lose a parent. Sorry about hijacking this place to say about another show.. but anyone looking for a new show can give this one a try. It is better than the one they have at 9 PM slot.

Hey mango.... I completely agree that the ONS was completely about control and frankly a bit of dom under current going on here .. if I maybe so bold... And also the challenging, not backing down mentality of both the characters....

Viaan as a character, even though being very innocent when it comes to women, has a very dominating personality from the start....We saw that in his various encounters with Katha and others in the beginning....

But his confidence, his identity, his control and all his characterstics both good and bad comes from the fact that he NEVER makes a mistake EVER!!! And he can judge a person better than most of the people....

When he did a mistake that messed up his core ideology, when he judged a person so so wrongly, it shook him to the core that he wanted to die....He simply lost all his identity and his confidence, and he was unsure how to proceed in this world anymore with the guilt that he feels so deeply.....

But also, he is a survivor.... He survived once before when he was destroyed to the core by his father's actions by surrounding his heart with these deep prejudices that protected his broken heart from the world till now.....

But he was destroyed again this time by his own actions, there is no one to blame but himself and he needs to live with it for all his life. So in order to survive this time he chose love and hope ....

All his identity, all his confidence, all his guilt and his broken heart is in his love for Katha.... She need not reciprocate it, she never has to feel any kind of feelings for him... He is just loving her for his own life, for his survival... Hence, his actions...

But for a broken person finding peace and happiness is not easy .... He is going to be destroyed one final time by Katha herself in whom all his hopes lie to survive himself..... I don't know how he is going to survive himself this time...

As for Katha destroying him completely ... I feel it is imminent because Viaan in his quest to "test" his own prejudices destroyed HER identity as a woman, as a wife, as a mother , as a person who loves her husband unconditionally, when he proposed the ONS to her in her most vulnerable state and she actually had to go through with it...We all know it's her own choice but she is not going to feel this way ...

And as if it's not enough trauma for her to go through, now he is making her feel things for him...

These feelings are not going to sit well with her... She is going to burst and hurt him badly and in the process hurt herself too..... Atleast that's where I hope makers are going with this.... Because both are stubborn in their stands for their own survival and now Viaan is challenging Katha not with prejudices but love....

I don't know if I succeeded in articulating my thoughts properly... But this is what their every dialogue, action and expression felt to me till now....

Its a good show

I could relate to the flat , flatmates ,hall me rehna and office too being from the same field

But no ML is going to hamper it ,its very low in trp as well as views i think sony will pull this off soon if not improved in a month

As for both Katha and Viaan being adults... In the love life and women aspects Viaan is not an adult... He is stuck in teenage phase when it comes to women... Because he closed himself off from any kind of meaningful interaction with women since he was 12... That's what he said during Shamita case and Ehsaan also said it in various other occasions I believe....

And also I don't believe whatever Viaan is doing can be termed as any form of harrasment at all... For me it looks like he always respected her boundaries...

As I already mentioned in the post he doesn't want her to even realise he is staring.... It's just for us viewers....

Firstly, about Viaan's staring... I get that some find it as creepy but it was just maker's way of showing his love for Katha...

And frankly, I don't get why that is so problematic because he used to stare at her before too... That was always there throughout the show... From the ONS till now.... In fact both of them stare at eachother....

And now it's not like Katha told him at any point that his staring/behaviour is effecting her in any way... She is just worried that he is getting his hopes up... And she specifically told him that she has no place for him in her heart and he respected that ..

@bold Katha told him that she knew what he is doing when Viaan come to her to say Good night.

Well there is difference in reaction when a stranger stare you and when a friend who confess you love stare you. The first one you just quickly judge the stranger stare you lustly. Second one may be you try to handle with maturity, not saying harsh word like harassment.

She said hey I know what you are doing, please don't do that. This is enough to understand rather than Viaan justifying I am in love and will continue to show my love towards you.

Lot of people cursed Eshan when Eshan put his hand on her shoulder even when Katha never say anything to Eshan that she is getting uncomfortable in getting close to Eshan.

I don't agree with Ssp123. I am liking the show .so not able to discuss the show here as majority are not liking it. 😆

Despite its flaws I love it . Meko kathaa viaan ki lub ishtory dekhni hai. Suna hai koi some actress is coming for viaan. Enough of katha's attitude 😒. Time for her jealousy . I will love it😎
