Why Anupa is hailed to this extent

Disclaimer: This is not an indirect. I apologise if it comes across like that. But a particular post asking about Why Rupali is hated raised question in my head unintentionally. Hence the question.

My question is why is Anupa hailed by her fans to this extent. I mean despite her failings and mistakes, her constant baa baa jaap for that vile old lady, her going back again and again to her abusers after every insult and character assassination, her lack of respect for herself, how does these things endear her to her fans? I mean I can understand she had been conditioned like this. Fine. But for how long can this continue? Whenever the question is raised about her being respectful to her abusers, Anupa fans defend her which is okay. But what's the reason? I mean do Anupa fans like it when she's abused? Do they like it when she worships her abusers? Do they not want her to stand up for her self respect? Do they want her to forever serve them? Does this quality of hers not irk them, even in the least? Do they really like it when she forgets or doesn't prioritise the smallest of things regarding Anu, the foster kid but would go to any extent for children who character assassinate her just because they are biological children?

I hate Anupa. I loathe Anupa. I detest Anupa. I'm very clear about it. There are no two ways about it. And I have clear reasons for doing so. And I have mentioned many of the reasons in that post.

I want to know the reasons as to why she is loved despite all the things mentioned above. I mean her kindness can be applauded. But does this kindness ALWAYS has to extend towards her abusers, despite whatever they come up with to harass her?

I don't like Anupama at all, but I am neutral towards rupali, and she seems like a fine person.

But the question was regarding why people hate Rupali, not Anupama, it was about people judging her real personality for her reel personality, if that's what your concern is.

And not saying that you have abused rupali, or spread negativity for her, but there have been instances in the forum where people have passed derogatory terms for her

Constructive criticism on acting is fine, but then there is a certain way to put it across.

Also, while we are addressing this issue I’d like to talk about this other misconception among fans that if you are a GK/Anuj fan you must be a Rupali/ Anupamaa hater by default…what logic is that? and why do fans of any fandom have to take things so personally? its a fiction show, actors get paid to do their job and thats about it, you can love and praise a certain actor or character but its unhealthy when you feel the need to defend their actions to crazy levels, I’m sure even the actors wont approve of it.

And I’m not talking of you here, just a general point I’m trying to make….ek toh everyone is so touchy about every comment these days, whatever happened to fun discussions I wonder.

On a serious note, no idea. I hate AnupaMAA because despite getting chances, resources, opportunities, she prefers to be insulted, pitied, crying like damsel in distress, when she is not. Quoting a Maggie Smith’s line - Lack of compassion can be as vulgar as excess of tears. Excess of tears for me. That’s it. It puts me off. Like right now that excess tears are going on for her ‘bebli’ who she subjected to abuses and ignored in all possible instances.
