See, and you say Anupama isn't inspirational. Acting victim and twisting things to suit themselves to be victim is a very Anupama trait and its clearly rubbing off on her bhakts

Since this is a show promoted under the garb of empowerment, and there are a lot of people who hail her as an inspiration which seems scary, but much more worse, when the actors and makers themselves keep promoting it as socially progressive - I think the level of frustrations, anger, and hatred towards the central character is - at the very least, understandable. I'd actually say, highly justified.

If they had just shown typical saas-bahu drama and domestic politics without any grandiose claims, I'm sure no one will have an issue here.

But they have (and I don't think I'm exaggerating at all) - dragged into their plotlines almost every serious and complex social issue there is and handled it with a form of extreme casual insensitivity that can be at times, very triggering to watch.

Many of the people here are, I think, people who probably used to genuinely like the character of Anupama in the beginning and wanted her to truly rise in life. I was one of them. So I find their frustrations understandable. Maybe they come here for the kind of community they get here - and something like a full-fledged community has been formed around trolling the show here, I think.

Also, staying on peaceful terms with an ex is fine, but this is Vanraj we are talking about! Don't you feel Vanraj is a low-life who does not even deserve the lowest level of cordiality? And after a point, Anupama's bond with Vanraj started looking so much more than just "cordial".

You might not analyze this show so much (not assuming it, just felt this), and might take a lot of things at face value - but just felt like giving this much clarity.

I don't think so, but agree with other parts.

I really wanted to see their point of view honestly. I mean just like I have my reasons to hate her, they must have reasons to love her. But I didn't get a single logical reply as to why Anupa is loved
