Keeping aside Maaya's feelings towards Anuj, the dialogue can sound problematic to a mother. But I feel she has come to believe Anuj's fatherly love for Anu in all this time and if he wished to do anything (wrong) with her he had ample time before Maaya showed up in their lives.
p.s. I am giving only practical answer (keeping aside all emotions)
If Anupama and Anuj can let minor CA go with Maaya without confirming that she is infact her mother then its fine for Anuj to ask to see CA alone…Not creepy at all in Anupamaa world.
and keeping it in context Anuj was being polite and indirectly asking Maaya to not tag along cause he wants nothing to do with her and is only entertaining her for CA’s sake.
I just watched that particular scene for this...and seen within limited context, it did come across as creepy to me - whether it's directed to any mother, and in this case, especially considering Maaya's past.
Also yes, the dialogues have been poorly written for a long while now but it's getting more and more one-dimensional, with no connection to reality or even the fiction they themselves had constructed a short while ago.
After Anuj leaves, the mother's dialogue is something like: You may leave now Anuj, but next time you come back, it will be foreverrrrr!....so I have a limit to how much I can take all this seriously.
But I do understand why you felt quite creeped out. It felt off to me too.

Agree and also he knows maaya 's feelings for him so he wants to avoid her
Yes it did. TBVH it exactly did. But then Anuj Kapadia is a fictional and amazing character. People in real life shouldn’t be doing this doesn’t matter how noble the intentions are.

I agree with this. Purely speaking from the character's perspective, there is no reason to doubt or feel suspicious basis the behaviour observed till now.
In any case, the whole track, the individual scenes and the dialogues are a complete mess in general, hence can't expect much when the execution is so poor
I guess they really dodged the bullet by first using Maa meter to identify if Maaya is the real mother and then portraying Maaya developing feelings for Anuj.
Anuj could have very well suggested co parenting back in KM itself but Sir had some serious issues then and had an out of control bati hui orat for a wife!
Like some members here, I too feel Maya trusts Anuj as Choti has lived with Anuj , spend more time with him alone as Anupama was busy and Choti obviously loves him. Maya has lived with him too and knows him. Anuj was Choti's foster father and is not a complete stranger either.
Dialogues can definitely be written better and IMO track can be better executed too.
Well haven't watched and cannot comment but what would actually creep me is Choti giving 5 pages Bhashan to Anuj about leaving Anupama.
I know she has grown beyond her age but, please, behave as a child.
