Multiple factors make a person attractive beyond looks.

- wealth, stature, power

- fashion sense and style

- personality

- a sense of humor, charm

- body

- sexual performance

Pete Davidson is not a conventionally attractive person. He's also not as wealthy nor as well dressed as some celebrities. But for some reason, women seem to swoon over him. And size can only go so far - I deduce that he has a lot of charm and personality.

Ranbir may not be conventionally attractive, but he comes from an influential and wealthy film family. I think he has a keen sense of style (or good stylist). I do find his interview personality dull and a bit of a douche bro - but for celebrities like him, on-screen personas matter too. His characters have been very endearing. So even if some women do not find Ranbir attractive, there is a very good case why other women swoon over him.

Colorism is definitely a factor. Some folks do fancy fairer skin. But it is not the only factor. Nor is it a factor for everyone who finds him attractive.
