I think haley nathan was more like popular guy tries to use nerdy girl to get revenge on rival brother but falls in love with her lol very rom com movie type or YA novel lol

here its unlikely lol nathan chose his love over his family heck he emancipated himself from his parents at 16 lol his whole family in the end was haley and a little lucas and of course later the kids. Shiva is no nathan lol later haley talks about how nathan is always sacrificing things for her and their life their kids especially when he is missing. Dan and deb really screwed him over and even if deb was there later dan could never get true redemption due to his actions even if nathan did forgive him in the end for saving his life.
