-Here's the logic : Ginni's POV : She has an epiphany that Adi has to deal with a lot of stuff because of her and has had so many life scares since she has married him. She involuntarily tries to distance him from herself in order to spare him any more threatening experiences that may occur, which she feels are because of her. This is why, this whole thing would or rather could work.
