Ranbir was out on a limb after Shamshera got royally panned by the critics and audience alike. I'm glad he's finally reaping the dividends of this decade long project. If the movie is doing well, good for him! I was feeling kinda bad for him cuz I have always maintained that he's a decent actor with some pretty impressive movies under his belt.

That said, I'm sure he's taking a big piece of the pie at the end as one of the producers of the movie. It's also possible he draws no salary or fee until the project opens/makes X amount ... depending on the the contract/proposal. In any case, there's no such thing as charity in business and I'm sure he's making bank off the movie, enough to forgo the "star salary" part of it.

So profit sharing then.

He should never charge money then and keep doing these 400-500 cr movies. Na banega profit, na milegi share.

Money maybe but it actually has not benefitted alia or Ranbir. Shamshera might not have done well but he was praised.

Monetary he will get the money. The distributor are at a loss.

Everyone are either praising Big B, Nag or SRK and the VFX.
