I was actually looking forward to Masaba Masaba. Didn't watch past episode 1 either. 30-plus wedding designer hitting on the groom? Forget unsympathetic character. How about idiotic? Hard pass for me.

These Bw types seem think ethics are passe (imagine the phonetic e. Donno how to type it)

Did she successfully break up the wedding ? 😂

Also the same crazy ass people who think some kind of debutante ball will decide the fate of their daughter. When our bai passed away from cancer, and suffered from lifelong physical and financial abuse from her alcoholic husband and son, our first thought most definitely was not about ourselves. But the world revolves around these self absorbed losers.

I also couldnt watch it beyond 20 mins, was planning to see Masaba since reviews said it is good, have my doubts now

I used to think I am probably old and its a gen gap but I now realise they are all in some world and seem to have lost track of basic morals

Yes, I agree. I actually saw some comments about Maheep bemoaning Rekha's death on Reddit and went to see the episode but was alarmed to see that she saw it in a very limited perspective from her seeing Shanaya signing a film before she died, like WTF?smiley18

But yes, the part where she emulated Rekha's advice of giving sweet to Shanaya before she left for a long trip was sweet though.

Honestly I liked Seema best of all of them- her convo with her son about losing the Khan surname seemed legit. Bhavna also looked grounded and sweet. Except for Seema's elder son, all the kids looked completely disgusted with their parentssmiley36

Neelam looked out of her depth but the parts of the episode with her husband Samir humanized her. Maheep looked vulnerable and lonely and honestly her marriage seemed to be quite shaky IMO. The best LOL moments were provided by these women fawning and hanging on to every word of Gauri Khan's as she sashayed down for the photo shoot and showcased her "designs" and "pret furniture"smiley37 And yes, the meeting of Seema Khan and Sima Taparia was comic gold!

At the end of the series I was more disillusioned with Bollywood than I was- even SRK looked like a pretender to a fan like me by the end😆

I am actually dreading the day Shanaya's movie releases. If KJo, Mahesh are ruining Alia's image by their "promotional" tactics, Shanaya can forget about relaying on her parents to work on some good promotions strategies for her.

She is going to be Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Amitabh Bacchan, Rekha, Rajnikant, Jaya Bhaduri wrapped in one.
