Not a medical professional, but here is my knowledge.

One reason can be you can't have other type of anaesthesia due to other health issues. Or it is an extreme emergency with no other option.

How was your blood pressure during delivery? Was it high? Do you have any spine injury?

Are the writers unaware about society and pregnancy things being a woman and mother doesn't RG knows how fatal this custom can be to new born baby.

Being no 1 show, don't they feel they should have certain responsibility towards their viewers some of them follow this show religiously it can mislead and harm people because all the sensitive topics are dealt very carelessly in this show be it adoption, domestic violence, post divorce relation, EMA, I felt they just use emotions to get trp with no logic koi bhi emotional irrelevant dialogues chipka rahe ho which doesn't suit the scenes
