I think she deliberately works with artists as bad/worse than her. On accident or not idk but she looks better with the likes of Bhumi/such. Tara was such a bad actress but she's a way better dancer than Ananya, who...is probably one of the worst dancers to debut in recent years.

In terms of acting Alaya F is far stronger than Ananya (she's around average), Ananya is below average, but she's better than Sara, Tara, Janhvi (although if Janhvi emotes she could actually do better since she is actually taking diction lessons)

I thought she had no impact in Roohi tbh. They could have cast any other actor in her place and it would not have made a difference to the film.

I think she's improving, but I hope she gets more attention for her improvement next time. She seems to be behind the likes of Sara/Ananya in popularity. Maybe next role she'll be bearable?

I like Ananya Pandey .. she’s a very popular gen z star and she certainly has made a place for herself in this industry whether we like it or not .. everyone knows about her .. I remember back in early 2000s even kareena had a similar vibe .. my older brother and his frnds were 19 and they could not stop obsessing about bebo’s bad acting yet they all had a crush on her .. basically she was a big hit among the youth ..

Similarly, my sister and her frnds who are 18-19 now follow Ananya’s fashion .. we the oldies might not like her but she clicks with this Tiktok generation plus I think she’s conventionally beautiful among the rest of the star kids . I can watch her face and not bang my head on the wall

Her acting is not hammy like Sara and she’s not stiff like Jhanvi .. she’s miles better than Tara .. I liked her in pati patni and gehraiyaan.. she did not make me cringe like the other nepogirls ..I was cringing throughout that atrangi re film … I think she needs to take some serious acting classes and she will be better .. even she was really good in soty too in whatever role she had .. I can spot a non actor from the first look ..she’s not bad but I agree that the standards are low nowadays .. the only non actor who proved me wrong is Deepika Padukone .. but Ananya is better than Deepika if we compare their start in terms of acting ..ofcourse Deepika was a bonafide star from her first film ..
