Do you think Ananya is a good performer?

Mixed reviews on her acting. I've heard people say she's good compared to Jhanvi and Sara, but lacks some X factor or something special. Others just trash her completely.

What do you guys think?

I kind of liked her in Gehraiyaan and Pati, Patni Aur Woh I found her better than Bhumi.

Technically, she's not great but I think she has potential.

Thoughts???

I skipped her scenes in Pati Patni and only watched coz Bhumi looked pretty😅 Gehrayiaan dekhne ke liye mujhe ananya ki tarah struggle karna padega and I am not there yet.

But even her acting in ads seems bad, atleast for me😅

ananya was barely there in Gehraiyaan..except for maybe last 15 min..and she was okay..the benchmark is so so low for the newcomers that I would actually call her the better one..it was deepika's show from start to end and she is so seasoned an actor esp in such roles that I couldn't even notice Ananya much..having said that..she is anyday much better than total non-actors like Sutaria, Patani

she was playing herself in gehraiyaan so no acting required, listen to her in any interview and movie side by side, same accent, way of talking etc no change

I did not like her acting in gehraiyaan her expressions barely changed

I have not seen her other films

she is pretty but not a good actor

She is decent. Not that great but not that bad either, found her better than Tara in SOTY and better than Bhumi in Pati patni aur woh.

She’s played very basic, bimbo type of roles till date. Give her a meaty role and you’ll see all the faults in her stars.

I don’t like her. There’s something off about her eyes - like dead. Lifeless. Maybe that’s why to me she Comes across as a robot while acting.

I think she deliberately works with artists as bad/worse than her. On accident or not idk but she looks better with the likes of Bhumi/such. Tara was such a bad actress but she's a way better dancer than Ananya, who...is probably one of the worst dancers to debut in recent years.

In terms of acting Alaya F is far stronger than Ananya (she's around average), Ananya is below average, but she's better than Sara, Tara, Janhvi (although if Janhvi emotes she could actually do better since she is actually taking diction lessons)
