Ohhhh,I like it.

I am happy they are trying to present it differently.

Someone was telling in the forum that in Sreemoye, the leading lady was tolerating everything that her relatives were throwing at her.

Here,atleast Anu is giving a reply😆

I feel the property transfer and empire transfer also happened for this track only....they might try throwing her out of the house and Anuj's life, but then since it's in her name, she will try fighting back🤪

I can't write much now busy with things

Regarding discussion it's there personal choice what you want to do if Anupama wants to do cooking she should if not she should not idea is to do things which you love mad like don't do forcefully ab meri nani abhi bhi nahi pehli ki baat maid and all are there lekin khana khud bana hain matlab hain maid baithi rahegi banayegi woh hi but she is the most progressive women at this age also warna i wouldn't have been single not my masi so it's just about personal choice financial independence is needed they should focus her on carrier and business also with this but I guess now new drama came in pata nahi bechari Anupama sabke dil hi jeeti rahegi but I guess this time anuj is there to support to Ada issues nahi hone chahiye but show will move to rich class middle class adjusting to ric class with lectures i feel uski dance academy gayi bhad main again anyways I will be less from now on let's see how all this goes cya 🤗🤗

But instead of simply showing Anuj as this too-good-to-be-true man , wouldnt it be making more sense if they also show the main protagonist Anupamaa learning and actually making progress ....If she's still shown serving chai and theplas to her abusers , saying "maine sab ghar ka kaam kar liya Baa" before rushing off to work , what's the use ? Who is learning from Anuj's example , Toshu to abhi bhi agar Kinjal ko doodh de de , everyone has tears in their eyes

No wonder , even though the character has been masacred badly , people are still liking Anuj's character more than Anupamaa's (some poll on twitter)...simply because Anupamaa is 2 steps forward and 10 steps backward ...

I agree, they are trying to cater to a wide audience coming from diff backgrounds and you know that is exactly where the creatives fail. I have noticed this since Anuj's entry. I understand the whole purpose of this entry was to show what was not going right with Anu and how it should've been - they started it off well but they keep falling all over the place. and they have been flagged time and again for this.

Anuj's character has been out and out fictional - they got him as a too good to be true - which is where the basic issue started - on one hand, you are "trying" to show Anu and her issues as "real" and then you contrast it with a character which is "too good"? Instead, they could've made both real and flawed. Ofcourse, it is implied that Anuj is flawed too but they have never really focused on that element??

I agree, they should've shown her progressing slowly in various walks in her life - prof, personal etc.

I agree with Mini too - on the kitchen dialogue...while I don't disagree completely, maybe the way they are making it look like is - if isn't forced, it is ok? and if she is doing something out of choice, then it is fine. Although, I don't understand why would they want to "glorify" it? Like there are probably better ways to word it or depict no?

If we are trying to show progress on itv and want to cater to diff audience base, then lets show progress in the correct sense no? Let them show what is not right now IRL and how can that be made right - but like I said, they tend to fail with this connection. It appears that they want to show something but either due to rushed writing or unnecessary drama, they miss the essence by a very long shot!

I can't find that post - but someone had mentioned on Anuj's character - prince charming nahi hote IRL. Idk why many women think that men who help with household stuff are omg wow? But honestly, I don't blame them much because that is how many are conditioned and ofc not to forget the extremely low standard of expectations. such things are pretty basic and i don't even think it is such a big ask either!

I saw this poll too (IF ka tha na?) - didn't see why Kinjal was included in it? and how is V considered to be the best "fictional" character? and I agree with your take on this poll - it is def that.

All in all, I really hope that post wedding, they try to fix these loopholes and the character arc. Show the flaws, let them embrace the flaws and together work on them. That IMO will be the best way to show personal progress - individually and in their relationship. Professional progress toh well we've discussed at length time and again

Stuff in bold: this is one of the problems according to me.The man lives there too, it's his home too, he does everything there, yet when he does housework it's called helping. Thus implies that actually it's not their job, they're helping out with work meant for someone else.

In my opinion, we should call it sharing housework, which indicates that men are equally responsible for taking care of their house. This difference in wording will help change the conditioning that it's primarily your job to take care of your house.

I totally agree. Like totally!!! The shift will take time but if the shows word it better and try to reach out and establish a connect (which this show is supposed to given it was all about breaking shackles) then we can see this shift happening sooner than later! It is life partners for a reason no? Why is that forgotten? If a woman can go out and earn and supports the household financially, can the man not support with housework? Chalega toh dono se hi. Saath milkar karenge toh Kya galat hoga? Aur kyun galat hoga?
