Please can anyone tell me? Exactly where is the video of DP or RM or even PC claiming they rejected the film? or where is SLB saying that they rejected it? Because I think I distictly heard him say "Gangubai was a very personal and special project for him" and he always and most certainly only had Alia in mind for the role and while he went on to praise other ladies he also said that not everyone fits every role or fits the vision that a writer or director may have, in this case the lead had to be young looking (precisely what everyone tried to trash SLB on when he casted Alia...because in some people's minds protitutes have to be old hags, news flash: in real life in the sex trade a 20 year old is over the hill...but nevermind). This op ed (one that the writer must of pulled out of her a.. on a slow day) has a current date, yet the body speaks of the film as potentially earning X amount in it's third weekend, so either this is a rehash old hit piece or something ain't right. Come on let's critique people for real things they do or not do...unless credibility and fact checking is such a smart concept that blids are the only thing some are capable of producing after a long "career" in journa...ahh pffft! nevermind that either.
