And from the KD discussion here so far, they were not together and probably his colleagues did not know she was his wife. And I believe he did everything secretly so that noone knew he was helping here. In Ghum everybody knows they are husband and wife and he arrested her too.

I think 'technically' they can file FIR and arrest because once they are in uniform, all others are considered equal in their eyes. But if they handle the investigation it is bound to fail in the court of law because there is prejudice associated with anything the officer could provide. A judge might turn down the case if the officer incharge is the spouse of accused, because he cannot make an objective decision.

Lawyers can clarify it. But I think the officers themselves will decline to take up the case, even if they had arrested their spouse because of its eventual dismissal in court.

Shruti ke time peh toh he broke every rule in the book to help her but now hes suddenly all dutiful.

Its sad that they barely lingered on his emotions about Sai's state.

The circumstantial evidences were such that he had to arrest Sai .. though it’s stupid .. they put disclaimer as they did it for drama

Because no intern is given so much responsibility.. the supervisors and hospital is overhauled . When Sai has not been given a license how can she overlook the patient .

but regarding virat he was sure he would get her out on bail .. so he arranged that immediately with samrat n lawyer who arrived promptly.
