Drabble 6: Moving on?

Shiva stumbled on his steps as her words echoed in his ears..

"Aise sadme mein kyun chala gaya?"

Than what should he do? Dance like a maniac that he was finally getting rid of Raavi just the way he wanted, without even thinking of his heart, which was Breaking into pieces?

"Tujhe to kush hona chahiye na Shiva?"

How can he be happy when he had so much going on his mind. How can he be happy when his Raavi was taking one step away from moving on from him?

"Tujhe waise bhi humare zabardasti ke shaadi se to main azaad kar hi chuki hun."

He didn't wanted to be freed from the marriage anymore. He wanted to be bound to her for the rest of his life.

"Ab teri jaan pe baith ke nachne ka mera plan cancel ho gaya hai."

Why? Why did she back out suddenly? He knew this had to do something with the reason why she cried like that.

"Aakhir insaan hun. Kab tak tera intezaar karti rahungi?"

Oh boy, he had actually forgotten that, and he felt ashamed of treating with so much hate. He loved her, Didn't he? How could he treat the love of his life with so much hatred?

He settled on the khatiya with a thoughtful expression. He knew he had very less days to make his decision. He wanted to go and see if Raavi was okay, but he thought against it. He knew he had to first clear the clutter in his mind.

With a fresh heart, he will approach her.

Next Day, he felt his heart leap in his chest as he saw Raavi had left the house early in the morning only, before he could even wakeup. He felt a hole in his heart at not seeing her face first thing in the morning. He had gotten used to her cheery self, who would work trielessly in the kitchen to help Dhara Bhabhi will the chores.

He missed seeing her act all caring for his brothers, and skipping in her steps to avoid Suman. He craved to hear her laughter, which was a source of peace to his ears.

Heartlessly, he moved to the bathroom to get ready. His mind was cleared to an extent. But he knew he had to take a very important decision, for which he had to work with more determination. He quickly freshen up and got ready, to go and meet Raavi, to talk to her.

But he didn't know another news was waiting for him. A bewildered-looking Krish rushed to Suman with an Invitation Card in his hands.

"Maa...Ye Dekho..!!!" He handed the Card over to Suman, who patiently read the card, and a big smile spread over her lips. "Are waah waah mera Krishu, kya badhiya khabar laaya hai tu. Woh Markundi Gaay ki Shaadi tay hogayi hai. Woh bhi isi Itwaar ko. Waah waah, Chalo aakhir kaar usne mere bete ka peecha chod hi diya..!!! He Somnath ji, aapka bahut bahut dhanyawad!! Der se na sahi, Aapne Ladki sadbuddhi to di... Jai ho Somnath ji ki. Ab mein apni Dishu ko phone karke milne bula sakti hun. Bol sakti hun ki ab uska Shiva apni zabardasti ki Shaadi se mukt ho gaya hai. Ab mere Shiva aur meri Dishu ki shaadi mein badi dhoom dhaam se karwaungi, Pura Somnath dekhta reh jayega...!!"

"Par Maa.. Shiva se ek baar.." Gaumbi tried to intervene but one glare and he stayed quiet.

Amidst all the conversations, Shiva had gone blank. Raavi was getting married within the week? Was she that desperate to move away from him like that? How can she marry a stranger like that? Without even knowing him properly?

Without a word, he left the house, his eyes desperate to see his Raavi...

Maami's house was decked up like the Engagement was today only. Shiva looked shocked to find the decorations, and he felt angry as he saw Prafulla greet the guy and his guests.

The Guy looked like a dimwit, adjusting his specs every 2 seconds. But he knew the Guy was 10% Handsome. But nothing compared to his raw beauty for which his Raavi had fallen for.

His ego was boosted to an extent, but his heart broke as he saw a smiling Raavi appear in front of them with a Pink Lehenga, but he felt worried as he saw her steps falter a bit.

She moved to the Guy's mother and bent down to touch their feet, but fell down and laughed at her plight. Prafulla had to help her get up as she struggled to pull a laughing Raavi to her feet.

Shiva felt his worry increase as she kept laughing as a worried Anita moved towards her to pull her away. Anita smelled near her face and almost pulled away in disgust. That was the moment he knew he was right. She was not in the right mind.

She was Drunk!! He sneaked to a pillar behind to sneak into their conversation.

"Raavi, Tu pagal ho gayi hai? Ek to aaj hi teeno programs rakhwaye tune, Aaj hi teri Sagayi, Mehendi Haldi sab hai, aur yahaan tu full tight hoke aayi hai?" An angry Anita questioned.

"To kya hua? Meri hi to Shaadi hai. Kaunsi Nayi baat hai? Pehli Shaadi bhi aise hi bina meri marzi ke hue thi. Ab bhi ho rahi hai. Mein Love Marriage Ke liye waise bhi nahi bani hun. Mere liye sirf 'Forced Arrange Marriage' ka hi khel hua tha pehle. Ab bhi wahi ho raha hai. To kya hi farak padta hai??"

Shiva's heart pained as he heard the words from her mouth. She wanted to have a Love Marriage with Shiva after their divorce, but he was too stubborn to think about it.

"Forced Arrange Marriage? Iss Shaadi ke liye tune khud haan kaha hai. Mujhe laga aaj jo tu ayi hai to khushi khushi aayi hai. Par mujhe kya pata that ki tu uss Shiva ki tarah nasha bhi karna jaanti hai. Apne sasural walon ke saamne raise behave kar rahi hai. Tujhe inke saamne tameez se rehna chahiye. Lekin nahi, uski bajaye madam tunn hoke aayi hain. Aur ab yeh faltu ki bakwas kar rahi hai. Pagal ho gayi hai kya?" Anita snapped further, trying to lower her tone so that no one but Shiva could hear them.

"Haan, Dobi jo hun. Mujhe chod ke sab log samajhdaar hai yaahaan. Isilye to ek samjhdaar bande se Shaadi ke liye haan bola hai..."

Before Anita could say anything further, an intoxicated Raavi snatched her arm from Anita's hold and moved to the mehendi waali and had her hands painted with Henna, all the while smiling and laughing, with some tears flowing down her cheeks.

Tears of Pain, Tears of Hurt, Tears of Realization that she'd never get the desired fairytale..

After her Mehendi was finished, she moved to the DJ and told them to play her song. As the song started, she started swirling in joy..dancing to the tunes of the music.

Ghar jayegi, tar jayegi

O Doliya chadh jayegi

O ho ho ghar jayegi tar jayegi

O Doliya chadh jayegi

She swirled in circles as she tried to dance with the wet mehendi on her hands

Ho-o-o Mehendi lagayegi re

Kajal sajayegi re

She showed her hands to the Guy who looked like he was ready to faint the bluntness, but he just averted his eyes and faked a smile to Prafulla, who looked ready to faint herself.

Dulhaniya marr jayegi

Oo dulhaniya marr jayegi..

Shiva's heart felt hurt at her behaviour. He silently tried to watch her pained expressions, which were hidden under her fake smile, trying to find that emotion which will tell him that she was not ready to get married.

But Alas! He knew he had to do something!

As soon as possible, or else he'd lose the Girl.

He'd Lose his Raavi..!!!

Hello Lovelies, Apologies for the delay, I was ready with my update, but sadly it got deleted, so had to write another one.😭

I felt so angry for my hard work going to waste like that, I literally had so many things added in that update, but it went poof and all my hard work is gone.😭

That's why I hate India Forums sometimes.😡

But anyway, I have tried to create some different scenarios in this update💔

Next update will be today only, and more interesting, mark my words!!
