Beautiful post.

The post is well-balanced. You have brought out everything about Sai as we know her....and she can never be a doormat.

As I see it, Virat and Sai were victims of circumstances. They both could have reacted to the situation differently...but they chose what felt best at that moment. Virat's hurt has been established in detail....I wish Sai's pain is acknowledged too. They both need to apologize to each other.

Sai is indeed a fascinating character....a rarity in Indian television.

Everyone's point of view regarding a story or a character is different - there is no wrong opinion. If people respected that, there can be many peaceful, though provoking discussions. Do keep such posts coming.

Thank you for seeing it that way.

Exactly what i meant. They reacted to whatever they felt right at that moment.

We all behave like this. It is because we know the story that we know it will haunt them later. Real life main kabhi aisa hota hai kya ?

I am glad too that i made this post.

Quite a members are interacting with for the first time. It's a pleasure to read others viewpoint. šŸ¤—

I do want Sai to tone down a little ..she’s a smart kid and a super achiever but her ability to do better than everyone may irritate virat .. which is what us happening right now .. a lot of men are egoistic.. ( virat definitely) they don’t like their wife overshadowing them .. so long sai does it in medicine or at home virat is ok .. when she starts interfering in his work space .. he will be resentful .

Sai needs to understand that .. if she wants a future with virat

Same thought..

I guess it's the sad reality girls have to do the maximum compromises to be with their partners..

It's just for the name sake that we are modern but the reality is different

I didn't mean that I wanted the Shruti track later like in KD. But if it was later, I would have had atleast some reason to feel for V.

I think now post love realization, when V hurts Sai, it'll affect her even more. Thats why I said she is getting herself stuck in a rut of heartache. Ab toh aur bhi zyaada bura lagega. Post confession if he doubts her or if Shruti 2.0 happens like in KD, it'll really shake Sai even more than now.

I feel like theres no point of a love realization and confession if one person is heavily guilty and blame ridden taking on the blame of even things she hasnt done and the other is in full on self righteous, mahaan mode and has forgotten all the things he did screw up. I just really hope that in that all important convo post confession/reconciliation, they dont forget to address Sais pain, insecurities and dont brush it away casually like they normally do. They need to stop making it Sais imagination or her doing. She doesn't feel insecure because she wants to or likes to, she is made to. She has all the reason to. Its very valid.

And i hope its not one emotional lollipop convo but a continuous dialogue.

This i disagree with. She has done nothing embarrassing. She is doing things out of love and guilt. She is in love with a man who as of now is not worthy of all this effort/fight/self deprecation. It'll be ok of he decides to evolve too...but dont see it happening.

The reason V is dragged in the discussion is because he is involved in anything to do with Sai.

The reason V wad dragged in the discussion was because the posts in the thread were starting to compare Sai n V and how both are "victims" of circumstances.. that used to be true. But its no longer true. V is not a victim of circumstances but choices..choices HE made. Not one but many wrong choices. In a series. With zero reflection.

The only reason many of us still look forward to a genuine confession/reconciliation is because we remember what the old V was like, we still believe that at his core he's a good guy. We remember how he has done things for Sai selflessly. But thats done. The relationship has grown, time has passed and expectations are different.

Just because Sai has had the ability to tolerate, retort, filter out the negativity of Chavannis to a large extent- does not mean its ok for her to be in such a toxic environment with her husband not realizing the toxicity and putting her through more. Especially now , after he has seen first hand what its like to be in Sais shoes. Everyone bashing him , no one to fall back on. Called names. Character assassinated. This was her on a daily basis. He cannot be let off saying he stood by her sometimes and sometimes it didn't happen in front of him. Point is he is aware of what his family is doing but was obviously not able to call out his own family as horrible people. He knows the depths to which they can fall. But now after he himself has faced it - will he still justify their behavior in future as dil ke acche people? Because we know that their toxicity, their attacks on Sai won't stop. Virat ka quota toh khatam hogaya. But Sai ka toh yeh jung with toxicity kaafi lamba chalega. Sai was blamed by bk, sonali even when it looked like V was having an affair with Shruti. And now toh obviously shes blamed/bashed. So whatever Sai does, her bashing is guaranteed by Chavannis. Even when BK herself briefly melted post her accident there were always people name-calling, insulting her. She had some support but it will not negate what Sai had to go through. She has learnt to handle it all.

But it's like saying its ok to live in a garbage dump because one has a fancy house and a car so garbage won't affect them.

You got most of the things right.

The irony of this world is that it is not a black and white world. Infinite shades of grey. So it cannot be that she is right and he is wrong always. They both could be right in their own ways or both could be wrong.

During Shruti drama both were wrong. Even during Pulkit kand, Sai initially believed that the lady staying with Pulkit is his wife and Harini's mother. Only when she heard her address Pulkit as Bhau, she realized the truth.

Similarly she gave up a bit too easily during Shruti kand. Had she thought a bit thande dimaag se, she could have realized that Virat was trying to tell her something. More than what was plainly visible to the eye.

Also remember that CN wasis are heavily given to their social reputation. Non-existent one..during Shivani Amey kand, they were ready to blame Shivani.

All the kaands at CN are done by the trio of BK, Ninad and Omkar. The rest of the Junta doesnt know. Ashwini didnt know the existence of Harini. Sonali never cared.

Even I wish VC sunao CNwasis thoda achhe se...I dont knw about the serial, but in my FF I have taken care of it.

I have a POV which can be a little different from what others have put forth so far.

I want to keep the Chavans aside for now because as a viewer I have felt that they pretty much add no value to Sairat’s journey. For me, they are just sideys added for drama and nothing else. And Paki ended with MiMo and hence she too is insignificant.

Coming to Sai - the darling of the show. I want to look at it pre kidnapping and post kidnapping.

Till Sada kidnapped her, she had no clue about why Virat was protecting Sruthi. Till he left for mission she was still dillydallying in her head between deal vs asli and whether she should cross over to real. Her thoughts just before moving back to his room gives an insight that If he wants it, she is ready to be his real wife. So that seed was there but did not get the opportunity to make it grow as Sruthi came in.

So all her actions after Mohit’s bhanda phod was a mix of emotions for her, pulling her back and forth.

This is what ACTUALLY went through her head though she might have tried to show differently -

Betrayal - it was not as a ā€œwifeā€ but as a best friend , thats why she removed the mangalsutra that quickly ,

Disappointment - that she did not actually give their relationship a try .

And after divorce when she was on her own, it was not easy for her and she craved his companionship as her husband. The whole dream sequence when she revisited their room confirms that thought process of hers. But then in the morning, she realized that she is alone and painfully accepts that.

This was the Sai before kidnapping. She still had residual feelings for Virat and her heart was still missing him and wished she could go back and change things in the past. She didn’t actually hate him.

And when she heard the truth from Sada it was such a relief for her and she just took a 180 degree almost immediately. All those harbouring feelings came right to the forefront and then there was no looking back for her. In her head, she is guilty for not understanding Virat’s love for her and not giving their relationship a chance. Thats why when the truth was revealed by Sada, it immediately changed her to The Wife Mode. Since then, she has been doing everything just to get back her place in his life. She is absolutely sure that he loves her otherwise he wouldn’t bother to save her risking his life. This is the conviction based on which she has been operating since then. Thats why she doesn’t get angry with his behaviour. She also gets back to CN and their room just with this one mission only. Chavans are not relevant for her now.

Now the new development is her realization which she has accepted whole heartedly. This has given her that extra push to her mission. Her actions might look doormatty , which even I felt many times. But after reading this write up , I am able to see Sai’s perspective. As a wife, I might also go to the extreme to manao my husband if I think he is innocent.

My only issue is Sai tolerating all BS from Chavans - thats not needed at all. When Virat himself gives 2 f****s to them now, why is she trying to manao them? Hopefully they will be shown their aukaad soon.

So is Sai a doormat ? - I think I have to change my earlier opinion. No she is not😃

I am not considering Virat in this at all. And I do not support his actions. But if he truly loves Sai, then with a proper redemption of him apologizing to Sai for the pain he caused her, maybe he deserves a second chance.
