Bison's Anupama Parameswaran files case on young female cyber bully for morphed pics; shows kindness

It has been a great year for Anupama Parameswaran who starred in the biggest Tamil hit of the year, Dragon. The Pradeep Ranganathan movie made on a budget of Rs 35 crores made Rs 150 crores worldwide bringing cheer to the actors and crew. She was also seen in Bison, which stars Dhurv Vikram in title role. Anupama Parameswaran who is from Kerala could not enjoy the success of Bison in peace though. The actress has filed a case against a cyber-bully who made a page of her where she posted morphed pictures. It also had baseless allegations against her family.

The most shocking part is that it is female who has made the page. In most cases, such cyber bullies are men. Anupama Parameswaran filed a case with Kerala Cyber Crime department who caught the culprit. Anupama Parameswaran said that multiple such pages were created that posted morphed pics and baseless content about her family, friends and colleagues. In her post, she mentioned that the culprit is 20 years old hence she avoided mentioning her name. She said she does not wish to harm her future so she can repent and move on in life.

"To my surprise, it turned out to be a 20-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu. Considering her young age, I have chosen not to disclose her identity, as I do not wish to compromise her future or peace of mind (sic)"

Fans and colleagues praised her kindness while she sent out a message. Anupama Parameswaran said the idea was to send out a message that social media needs to be used with responsibility. Anupama Parameswaran made her debut with Nivin Pauly’s film Premam. She left her studies mid-way to focus on her film career. Anupama works in the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movie industries. This year, we also saw her in Kishkindapuri with Bellamkonda Srinivas. Even Tillu Square did decent business making it a wonderful year for her.
