After the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, Tanya Mittal once again found herself under heavy scrutiny. The repeated criticism has now prompted her manager, Manish Sharma, to speak out. He shared that the way Tanya was questioned and portrayed on the show seemed biased and failed to reflect her actual conduct inside the house.
Manish said, “I am not sure what they are trying to portray. Because in a house like Bigg Boss where contestants are not allowed to talk about the outside world, it is obvious that they will talk among and about each other. And it is not just Tanya who spoke about others in their absence — literally everybody has done that, so why only she is being targeted?”
His remarks highlight the very nature of the Bigg Boss format, where contestants often discuss, plan, and react to one another’s behaviour as part of the game’s structure. Manish questioned why Tanya’s conversations were being treated differently when similar actions by others were being overlooked.
He further added, “Tanya is so graceful and she has always maintained dignity since the very beginning of the show and has never tried to intentionally hurt anyone or use bad words or malign anyone — since day one.”
Manish’s statement echoes what many viewers have been expressing online. Several social media users have called out what they perceive as partial treatment towards Tanya. Fans have pointed out that she has handled disagreements calmly, often avoiding confrontations and personal remarks, even during high-pressure situations.
Supporters believe that Tanya’s composed nature and emotional restraint might be getting misinterpreted as passivity or disinterest, while others think her quieter approach doesn’t fit into the high-drama environment of the show.
Manish’s defence has opened a wider discussion on whether the show’s portrayal of contestants during Weekend Ka Vaar reflects complete fairness. With growing support from fans, reviewers, and now her own management, Tanya is being appreciated outside the house for maintaining dignity and balance amid constant judgment.
