Soooo, let bygones be bygones!!! Fandom zindabad!! Lets start afresh, shall we and will continue till the writers make their next blunder...hahahahhaah

I did not want to crowd in Sunny's thread as i saw that's already reached 14 pages..so here I am and my is more or less a tad serious analyses and our Sunny's thread is a mix of humor, seriousness and much more 😊😊

Let m start with our MaAn today..there are many many quotes of Nicholas Sparks that make me think of them. One such quote is as follows -

"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me" - this is true for both isnt it?? They both bring peace to themselves, happiness, and that joy of just being. This is the beauty of a relation that has understanding, compassion, trust, transparency, honesty, and love. I hope this continues with MaAn in every junction of their life and we get to see the stark difference between Anu's past marriage and her current relation and in the future marriage! What i liked the most in today's episode and which total justice to Anu's feelings and healing is that Anuj broached the subject! This man never ceases to amaze me. Him taking that step/courage to address that she is also as much as a victim had my total respect. And Anu addressing this with her ex-husband is what we all wanted since this DV track started. I am glad (what ever be the reason) that writers addressed this and added this MOST IMP clip in the episode. This also created an opportunity for Anu to understand that with Anuj and Mukku, she also has that window to heal, speak, and mourn her trauma and pain that she has faced for 25 years!!!

Coming to Vanraj Shah, the audacity of the MAN to think that an apology, a mere sorry can wash away the humiliation, pain, the destruction that he has bestowed on Anupamaa!! WOW, some MAN he is!!!!

Vanraj Shah was and still is a domestic abuser who feels superior to women!! 25 years of trauma and counting can never be erased. I cannot even imagine the pain Anu probably felt watching her abuser sympathize with Mukku and not acknowledge his own sins. That one expression when he said that men have to change, says it all. I am damn proud that our girl gathered the courage to face the man who ignored his sins and tell him that she will never forget, but she won’t let it hinder her moving forward in life. And I am double proud that she did not let revenge rule her life!! Many a times the need for revenge consumes us so much that we forget to live. There’s something powerful in looking at the individual who abused you and acknowledging them but also showing them that they are NOT IMP enough now to stop moving forward. Vanraj believed he ā€œfreedā€ Anu while Anuj was in the hospital, but in this scene Anu freed herself from the shackles of Vanraj’s superiority complex. When Anu stared at her abuser in the eye and spoke her pain she achieved that one thing that many can never achieve, that she is no longer inferior to her abuser; she is free! This was the moment when Anu confidently made herself realize that she is afterall superior, far superior than Vanraj Shah!!!! Kudos to the dialogs that were part of this confrontation, even if its taken collectively from the fans!!!šŸ¤—

The pinky promise scene reminded me of a line from the movie Safe Heaven - "I love you katie, pls stay. I promise that you will be safe, i will be your safe heaven. Pls stay" ā¤ļøā¤ļø

Relationships are more informal in the US then the Indian subcontinent. People are very informal also in the workplace. Friendships develop between various age groups and any boundary is actually rare. However, Vanraj understands the boundaries of India. Multiple times he has claimed that his relationship with Mukku is solely professional and regardless of her temperament, Vanraj has the opportunity to set the dynamics/boundaries. Mukku may not understand or want to acknowledge the norms of the work place or establish boundaries, however, Vanraj as a brother, husband, and father understands her vulnerabilities and can very easily misuse the same. I will still say that Mukku is more than meets the eye. I observe her every expression and at times it feels like she is studying him and saying "haan beta, tera number jaldi aayega...tu khel jo khelna hai, main bhi khel hi rahi hun"!! I want to trust bec of the reason that this girl has stayed 10 years all by herself. She must have faced many morons!! I know the writers again can disappoint, but for now I will believe that Mukku is more than she seems to be. So let me wait and watch!

I understand Nandini’s concern, I agree with some of her thoughts, however I feel the writers are wanting one person to side with Kavya fully as karma is serving a little bit of what she has given to Anu. Kavya is her family and she will always have this relation as an excuse to project her weakness. However, Nandu needs to understand that beyond what Kavya did to Anu; she also personally blamed Samar and that will always be a sore point for Samar. Nandini has to understand that love, acceptance, and affection need to naturally happen and cannot be an automatic response to an individual marrying into a family. And what is this blaming of ANu????? How does it end up being Anu's fault???? This is one thing that I completely disagree with Nandu. Toshu’s advice to Pakhi was very much needed, at this point Pakhi still expects everything to be handed to her on a silver platter. If she truly wants to broaden her horizon/outlook/experiences she needs to show the maturity and preparation to prove that she’s capable of being on her own. Work hard and the results will play out girl!!

Finally, about Anu's wish to move out of the Kapadia house - again totally understandable!! I also will be awkward in her position. And the feel that she wants the siblings to bond well is totally justifiable but part of their growth and coming together as a family again is Anu. Anu has always felt as an ā€œoutsiderā€ multiple times by the Shah's that maybe she is subconsciously is holding this true to the Kapadias as well. Even in today’s episode, Baa was hesitant to call Anu about what was happening in Samar’s life, based on Vanraj’s direction. Yet, we know that ANu can never be completely cut off from the Shahs. Because of her marriage to V, and having children she will always be connected. Just that the relation changes - her house has becomes an ex-house. Society is such that it never allows one to completely cut off from the past, mainly marriage! It takes sheer strength to always defend yourself when society asks questions. Mukku and Anu’s, ā€œwhy do you care?ā€ reminded me of so many conversations I have had with my parents at one point!! I always ask why should i care about what people think!! They are anyways going to comment one thing or the other as thats their timepass....people will gossip regardless, so we better live our life as we want to as its just one life, correct!! And my mother mainly will say ā€œyes yes, but it doesn’t work that way always.ā€ when you grow up in a society where gossip effects your life constantly it’s difficult to completely escape, but I am proud that Anu is taking steps to unchain herself from this chain of society and the kapadias are helping her in this as well!!

Ending with another famous quote - ā€œThe woman who survives intact and happy must be at once tender and tough. She must have convinced herself, that she, her values, and her choices are very importantā€ - Maya Angelou

Looking forward to the next plot!! Bhavna mentioned that abb vidhvans hoga!!! hahahah they have moved to the next level of kaands... vidhvans = destruction!!!!

Have a great weekend all!!

I think you are right, let bygones be bygones on this onešŸ‘šŸ¼

Its clear from the way Anu acted with Vanraj during the Hum Tum song sequence and her subsequent conversation with Vanraj and Anuj that the her confrontation scene with Vanraj was shot afterwardsšŸ˜†.

That is it was never supposed to be part of the show but the backlash and drop in ratings foreced hand🤪.

Regardless, I am glad they are flexible and bringing important issues to the forefront. 😊

yepp, we really cant hold on to the blunder they do ... as they might repeat it again since this is a long running show. We can only hope that they have learnt this time and will be careful with future plots!!
