SKJ probably thought they will recoup the investment easily and let everyone know that the budget is 270 crores. Saw some attempts to change it to 125 crores or so on Wiki yesterday lol.

It was 125 a week ago also because I checked when all this hallabuloo about 270 was going on.

Oh ok, I saw it at 270 just a couple of days ago and then it changed to 125 though. Maybe it's being edited repeatedly.

I mean that often producers are unwilling to disclose the exact budget because if the film doesn't make much money, they can keep up the perception of a success. Sort of like films like Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, where they are throwing success parties even though it's a huge flop. They can do this when the public has little idea of the original investment.

But with 83, SKJ must have believed it will make loads of money, so he openly talked about the budget and now everyone knows how insanely expensive it is. They can't easily fool the public that it is a huge hit because everyone knows the collections are nowhere near the budget that he himself gave.

You don’t have to tell me about SKJ because I wasn’t born yesterday neither was this the first article I am reading of his. I have seen him literally pulling statements out of his behind quoting this and that star when they haven’t even given him the time of the day.

All I am trying to say is that he isn’t one of the producers.

I have read articles about Kat dragging even her own godfather Salman and taking all credit for T3 which is not even out yet. Kat was also the one planting negative articles against DP blaming her for not allowing her to work with RS when herself rejected every movie with him. Who are we kidding? Kat’s new PR manager is Salman’s old one. Reshma Shetty, if you know her then you know what she is capable of.

Also, none of the articles were so crass so as to call Katrina the 'only saving grace' of a film. LMAO. Like, she got MULTIPLE critics to roll out the exact same tweet praising Deepika for PRODUCING 83. 🤣Ain't nobody gone lower than that.

You are going in circle. You are trying to make Kat a saint which she isn’t. You trying to make it look like she never did anything wrong to DP or never bashed her. I proved you wrong. If stealing credit is a problem then Kat did it if Paid tweets is a problem then Kat did it too.
