Valid argument but I do disagree with the statement that Anupama seeks abuse!

A victim does not seek abuse - in my POV this is putting the blame back on the victims! They are conditioned from being in an abusive environment for a long time. She was 19 when she got married, for the majority of her life she has not experienced anything different to what was given to her from Shah family, there was never any glimpse or mild flicker of empowerment!

She hit rock bottom and came above it. Given the opportunity, she holds the courage to be an empowered woman but she needs to find herself before she can fully be someone else’s!

Present anupama may not deserve Anuj as he is sorted, but a future sorted Anupama does deserve Anuj.
