I guess in KD, there also comes a point where the family starts to dislike Roopkotha, right?
Seems like Varun's days as a solo hero are gone!
Once again Tripti Dimri is such a fab actor !
Pathaan was superb
Episode dtd 8.6
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai struggles at the box office
Anti Indian sentiment and chinese involvement
How come kareena & Deepika never got Padma Shri

I am too half bengali, some dialogues are easy to understand, some are not.Do you understand Bengali .. if not .. it is very difficult to follow KD .. it is a very dialogue heavy series .. the emphasis is more on conversation than action .. I am half Bengali .. so I get KD
What I mean is Sai n virat have had not had such deep conversations yet .. and Sai has spoken a lot about her dad .. .. I have not watched KD from beginning .. watching the later tracks ..Rono is always the man in Emon’s life .. and her axis is around him .. .. Sai has been fixed with the Hindi tv lead .. mode .. I am not seeing exactly the same story … though plots are similar ..
Sai virat are different from emon rono in many ways.
Emon won't give teenager vibes, she gives mature woman vibes. While sai is shown mature in some things and immature in marriage relationship things.
Emon made rono her world even before confession, that's why she committed suicide for the man who insulted her.
Where as sai is pakka aaba's girl. Her day starts & ends with her aaba. The main reason she got attached to virat is he reminds her of her aaba by doing things for her that her aaba used to do for her. Even in hospital she drank nariyal pani only when virat enacted as her aaba not when virat asked her. She misses her aaba everyday & feels sad about not having parents. In one episode she tells pakhi u should feel lucky that you have parents, there's isn't a single day where I don't remember my late parents.
Sai is shown as a girl who badly craves for family love, recently her dialogues to virat parents showed same where she says she is happy that she got them because of her marriage with virat. She loves virat so much but she is yet to see herself as virat's wife in complete sense. She is happy with this friendship phase without having married relationship with virat because that is her comfort zone. No teenager would be ready for married life even though they are in love. They will love to enjoy the bond in friendship or love phase. Moreover sai has other insecurities in bonus which stops her from seeing her relationship with virat as couple one. She is yet to make virat her world.
Since you saw episodes after confession so you might find emon rono having meaning full talks.
I am sure after confession sai virat conversations also will be same.
We are yet to witness sai realisation & her confession.
Also in itv fl's world is ml only so emon is no different from itv female leads.
I am a certified KD fan! I loved rono and emon both. Their characters are very real and after one point of time you know exactly how they react. The age difference also can be seen playing very clearly between them 👍

I do understand very well.. I am full Bengali.. Though I am not into Bengali dramas it's only Ghum got me into watch it bits and pieces..
I understood the depth of the characters and story quite well..
There are lots of difference between the original and Ghum.. Here some sequence are made so cringy where as in kd was more impact full..
SaiRat>>>>>>>> Rono Emon..
I didn't understand why Emon fell for such man.. Emon was more sultry and wild.. In the original Rono questions her character in Sunderpur when Emon comes to enquire about their plans at mid night.. He calls her kalankiny.. He was thoroughly mean to her..
Emon tried to act immature but it came out irritating.. Where as Sai is more innocent and wild too.. Virat is more passionate unlike Rono.. ViraKhi had more depth than in Ghum so you kind of feel sorry for RK..
Sai is so much different from other ITV heroin.. She is more human and mostly a lost confused teen.. That's the catch in Ghum.. I must appreciate vanker for this.. Leena only tried to bring that human psychology that's all.. And the story was very very real.. No matter how independent girls are these days still they stuck with a misogynistic society.. They are forced to put up with all these..
GC days are much better than the original..We kind of can tell these couple are subconsciously in love..
Agree that deeper conversation is completely missing in SaiRat.. I don't know whether it's done purposely or it's the poor writing 😕Had expection in friendship track but I am disappointed big time 👎🏼..
Sai's whole world revolves around Aaba unlike Emon.. You see it made more sense to me because she hardly got the chance to meet people outside GC.. Also she was the only child raised by a single parent.. So she kind of have been living in her Aabas bubble all her life..
What I have heard emon was fierce even though she was too loud sometimes but she never left her character.
Here Sai has been completed mellowed down who keeps on crying and speaking those emotional dialogues that she is an orphan and she has no one.
I mean I do feel for her but after one point you gotta stop because ppl around you don't care especially the snakes she is living with.
Sai has lost that fierceness
Emon was Badtameez... Plain badtameez.. Sai is not... Thats the major difference.
She craved Rono, even after the fact that she was abused more. Rono did not even apologise properly for certain things, called her Charitraheen multiple times, even linked her to DIG who treated her like his daughter... After all this, Emon craves for his touch the moment he becomes human after her accident. I found it cringe.
Sai talks about her Aaba more, which is natural....at least how I look at it. Sai Aaba had a very deep bound and thats why in every occasion of her life good or bad she talks about him. Many people I know around do that.. All EMon talked about in moments of despair was Rono and his behaviour.
In kd i never found rono to be in love if emon ever either because of writing or because of the actor not expressive enough unlike virat whose expression are enough to tell about his love for sai. Also in kd it was unbelievable to fall for some one like rono but still emon fall for him. Who just demeans her everytime and questions her character all the time.
I guess in KD, there also comes a point where the family starts to dislike Roopkotha, right?
In KD, after the whole Samrat revelation part, there was a certain degree of distance maintained by the people who loved her. Samrat again in KD was not abusive, only Rono was...so showing him here, seems like and added touch.

Sai's bond is more with her Aaba, Emon's was more with her husband. Thats one of the greatest difference . Emon in her ways did not look like a teenager at times...however Sai does, most of the times...I do feel KD dealt with the attraction and romantic part much better than Ghum. Here evn though Virat looks too much in love , I am yet to see that deep passion, that Rono had...Their dialogues were really good. Rono did say that they wasted one year and he wont anymore, when thy get close to each other..I dont see Virat and Sai having those conversations, insinuating the physical aspect of husband wife relationship in this show...they will only go on and on with Waaris chaiye.. BS, to denote the relationship. KD did not have this crap.
You know it is understandable that why sai world is still her aaba. Because he is the one who loved her more than anyone in the world. Emon made rono her world despite his behaviour towards her. Emon hardly remembers her father.

I don't know whether it is deliberate or unintentional but vankar showed sai as a person who wants family love as much she wants virat. When she was leaving house before accident she had flashbacks of family too. Whereas emon's all emotions are about rono. Sai mentioned many times how much she craved for mother's love which she is getting from aswini now. Even during ganapti celebrations she prays to bappa for virat by saying because of him I got aai.

Sai sees the world as black and white.. She was never introduced to the greyer side ..Thays why she craves for selfless love which she has seen that in Aai , Deviyani,Shivani,Mohit and Samrat.. If she was made to introduced to outer world she would have accepted Virat by now and understood his rage.. She gives into his demands either as his wife or she is indebted towards Virat.. Though Sai loves Virat too much but the poor girl unable see herself as his wife because she feels it may create more distance between them.. If she is able to make Virat happy her face lit up with brightness...
Marriage is not all about sex and getting intimate with your partner.. That phase ends within an year.. It's the trust, acknowledgement and respect stays in the form attractions.. This is the real pull and push between a couple.. Though itv overrated love and marriage both.. Ghum is no less😆..
The reason I like GC because it was shown the mutual respect and trust was already started to built there.. Virat was shown to have more patience with Sai than Rono.. He understood her vulnerability.. That's the sign of a partner who is willing to spend the rest of his life with you.. Same goes to Sai.. She was rude but she had immense respect for him..
