I was checking Mamta's Instagram and she is still posting some stupid quotes & philosophical shiz. She is in her own world & doesn't seem to care at all. How will they run the PH this way ?🤪

What an absolute star this woman is! It is definitely not easy and may even lead to others being wary of casting her. Whatever may have transpired behind the scenes, she has spoken like someone who genuinely cares about her work. She clearly is in a good place in life, mentally, to do this. The production house and the writer have absolutely no regard for their own show. Ruined a masterpiece with lousy writing and a dumb villain, were they really more important than the lead? The hubris and the arrogance displayed by the production house and the writer are unreal. You are only as good as your last hit show, such is the nature of showbiz.

Edit: Curious to know, does this production house and this writer have any other hit show? Or are they riding on the success of S1 of this show? (Not being nasty 😆)

I doubt other people will be wary of casting her because of this. She did kzk2 and 2 seasons of kuch rang without any issues, so for her to do this all of a sudden will give most sane and sensible people within the industry the impression that she was wronged somehow and it forced her to take a step like this, after all it is the makers who first started slandering her by blaming her for show going off air and only then she made this response.

But that is not proved yet. The day court announce guilty, eri probably post taking back her support. And our court is very strong when it comes to kids. I feel ekta herself back out if he is proven guilty. She is mother herself n I don't think she will support child rapist.

I understand your feeling. But we shd not jump on her why she supports him. It's ok to support as long as he is not proven guilty. By her supporting, we don't come to conclusion pearl is clean. Let's wait for court judgement, until then I don't see him as criminal.

Betwn, In bhai case, even after committed crime n proved guilty how many are supporting him. Even prime minister supporting him. 😆. In comparison to that our eri supporting pearl is nothing..

Hey I don't intend to jump on Erica. For me, all the actors who supported Pearl are equally disappointing. All actors who support an accused in such cases which implies questioning the victim, are completely wrong for me. A poor child is involved & all these celebs jumping to protect a 'friend' was pathetic. Whether it is Erica or Shaheer or Ekta or Prime Minister or President, doesn't make a difference because they are all wrong IMO

I hate it when celebs speak about such sensitive stuff when they don't even know the facts because it can have a lot of impact & put a lot of pressure on the victim so it's best that they all stay out. With that let's agree to disagree :)

I disgusted only abt child mother. Never thought there are such mother exist. She was hardly reacting to news. I would hv killed that person who harmed my child.

And eri's is just a support post for friend n not support of criminal. Also she posted it when news was going around that pearl was framed for it. It would hv been better she had kept quiet. But now its done n dusted. So let's ignore it.

Fantastic! She is truly fearless, stands up for what she believes in and doesn’t hesitate to speak the truth 👏 She has articulated what’s been on all our minds regarding the abysmal plot and characterisation.

Shaheer will neither speak up nor post nor support what she said in any way. He is far too diplomatic and has too much to lose, now more than ever. He is known for maintaining cordial relations with the PH, especially because they are always accommodating about his travel to Indo (in the past), working on other shows simultaneously etc.

I didn’t know the PH was blaming her for the show closing. Well they deserve it, this was a shitshow from day 1, with brain dead idiots writing the most unbelievable, nonsensical tracks, total destruction of characters and realistic approach and finally the PH giving more importance to the third angle than the FL.

Good luck to Erica and I hope this honesty doesn’t harm her future prospects.

Anywyas pocso is an exception in that in this act and any crimes against children the accused is assumed guilty and is to be proven innocent.

this is the reason most rape victims don't come out and lodge the case. because people like Ekta and Eri support them and turn public sentiment against the victim. when a whole gang of influential people is collectively supporting an offender then it really gets difficult to get justice.
