I just read this on Twitter. Bravo to her for putting her thoughts out there. I'm sure that whatever she has written is true...there might've been conflicts between her and the makers. I read that she was being blamed for the show going off air...in such cases it is very important in this SM age to clear one's name.

Now this might cost her... might harm her chances in some cases...but honestly...this is needed. Everyone should stay true to their work. Doing a work half heartedly is never gonna be fruitful to you in the long run. Working just for the heck of it gives temporary pleasure only. Personal experience.

If you're not happy with your work ... don't do it.

The makers especially the writer...as soon as she entered I knew... definitely had something worse up their sleeves. Erica quitting did put an end to it and hence their frustration in blaming her.

Anyways... I will watch her next project whatever it is as a token of appreciation for taking this step. Hopefully it's not really bad else I'll quit too in between 😆

Good on her..i wish all the actors take a stand like her so that quality of daily soaps improve..i refuse to believe that indian house wives enjoy same stupid tropes in all the shows..high time for all actors to refuse regressive content

What an absolute star this woman is! It is definitely not easy and may even lead to others being wary of casting her. Whatever may have transpired behind the scenes, she has spoken like someone who genuinely cares about her work. She clearly is in a good place in life, mentally, to do this. Kudos to her and I do hope she finds her next opportunity fulfilling.

The production house and the writer have absolutely no regard for their own show. Ruined a masterpiece with lousy writing and a dumb villain, were they really more important than the lead? The hubris and the arrogance displayed by the production house and the writer are unreal. You are only as good as your last hit show, such is the nature of showbiz.

Edit: Curious to know, does this production house and this writer have any other hit show? Or are they riding on the success of S1 of this show? (Not being nasty 😆)

Looks like a lot has transpired between Erica & the production house. From her post it seems she tried to negotiate with them first. But when that didn't happen, she put her papers. All the rumours about her quitting was actually true & she was serving notice period since then. I totally support her decision & agree with each & every line of her post. I am glad that she is as attached to Sonakshi as us. She had always said that Sonakshi as a character is very dear to her heart, for all the right reasons. It immensely pleases me to see that she actually meant that & she fought for Sonakshi as best as she could. Ultimately she decided to bow out with her dignity intact and I truly admire her for that.

I was not fan of KRPKB but during lockdown period I watched it. I loved it especially after leap story. Absolutely was enthralled by season 2. Really sad to see this season destroyed the essence of the show.😡😡😡 😡😡😡😡😡

And really glad I did not watch this season. Only promos and clips. Was planning to see if the story was upto mark like previous seasons but clip scenes were enough to see this season is all about same crap like other ITV shows. Really regretted because not only Sanjana angle, I really felt frustrated with Suhana's twist too. I was attracted to the show because of Suhana and her equation with Sona, and Dev. For me the three were whole package. They destroyed it that too. 🤦‍♀️

I will remember season 1 and season 2 fondly.

With that done, now I want to know who gave Ms Sana Amin Sheikh the right to tell in chats that Erica hasn't quit? If I remember correctly, there was a post here few days back saying that Sana has revealed that Erica hasn't left & the poster asked the fans / viewers to "calm down". Not only it was not Sana's place to address the topic of someone else's business, it would seem she was thoroughly misinformed & by giving that statement misguided the viewers too.

If that personal friend of hers is still around, it's my request to her to please convey this to Sana that she needs to know her place & stay out of others' business. And also maybe consider logging out of her social media handles for a while & not pick fights with fans deliberately. That would let her catch some breath & maybe will calm her down.

Exactly. I felt weird that an actor was leaking such info to fans. What kind of an actor is she? No professionalism at all.

Erica!!! So damn proud of you!!!!!! It takes a lot of guts to stand up for yourself so publicly and say that this is not what I signed up for!!

I am so impressed! You've given a really good performance in this shitty season.

More power to you, girl! I hope you find lot of success in the future!!! And as you told us, we will remember Sonakshi Bose from S1 and S2!! And we will rewatch those beautiful episodes again.

I can't believe the production house had the audacity to blame her for the show going off air??

Her writing this shows that things were much more dire than we were thinking.

Actors usually don't disclose things like this, the fact that she had to means the PH was probably blaming her pretty blatantly for the show going off air.

How they can ignore the thousands of posts by almost every fan telling them that the show is not working and blame Erica for it? The one person who looked actually invested in doing the scenes?

I mean no disrespect to Shaheer but it was pretty clear that he either did not have any interest in doing the show or was not at all able to connect to the character. He did not even look the part! Erica atleast heard the comments about her uber rich looks and switched back to the simplistic style of Sonakshi.

And ALL this just for one character/actress.

Like really? Does Sana have some blackmail material on the PH/writers??

How does this character take over the whole show, get sooo much screen time and is given her own freaking song?? Ishwari doesn't have one! And she's almost one of the main characters!🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I have full belief, had they not introduced Sanjana to the plot and actually went with counselling and the characters healing from the past the show would have been much better.

But alas that would have required a talent of writing that simply was not present this season.

I am so happy that even Erica felt the absence of Durjoy.

I don't think Shaheer will ever comment on it because he is always very pro-PH but the show lost its magic and more than 50% of the fault is because the writers were changed.

It takes great courage to speak out the way Eri has and I'm just 😍😍 in awe of her.

I wish her all the best in all her future projects and I know that I will most definitely give them a watch because she has shown integrity for her work here and she has my respect.
