I can understand. Sometimes the celebs we like do something that we do not condone. I make peace with myself thinking that they are also human and are bound to make mistakes. They have their own perspectives. That's it. Iske aage aur kya kar sakte hai lol.

I think the case is still going on. We know how our judiciary system works. I just wish that all these actors shut up in such sensitive situations in future. Indulge in any amount of PR you want. Do whatever it takes to further your career but I just wish actors (both Bollywood and TV) refrain from commenting on such issues esp these sensitive ones when they aren't even privy to the facts

True. Actors should be responsible when it comes to such sensitive issues.

I think I have made peace with the fact that I don't expect too much from actors off screen. End of the day they will also do what is best for their career. They wouldn't mess with someone powerful & jeopardize their career. I don't take what celebs say seriously in off screen interviews also. As long as they look the part & act well and the show is good, all is well. It's great Erica made this post & the show is ending because of this but that's it. Totally agree, thodi disappointment hoti hai but I try to ignore in order to enjoy the character xD. Thankfully this crapfest will come to an end soon & we can revert back to S1

When someone is being accused of rape, you do not blindly go and defend them just because he/she is your friend. Just because someone is nice to you, doesn't mean they behave the same with everyone else. And when you are a celeb with clout, it's all the more important that you do not blindly support someone when they are accused of something this grave. And this is not just about Erica. But that rape is huge allegation. What if it was framed to bring him down. What if the crime committed by someone else? But I would hv hated eri if she had supported him after he was proven guilty. Before that it's normal human behaviour to defend loved one. So, I am absolutely ok when she posted.

Betwn my heart goes for that child. The criminals need to b punished. It may b someone else, but can that girl get justice?

But what if he was indeed guilty? Isn't he already in an influential position because he has entire industry and their fans supporting him and he has a powerful person like Ekta backing him? When someone is complaining of sexual assault or rape, the first instinct is to give the victim benefit of doubt. And if you aren't present there as an eye witness, it's best to shut up instead of commenting know ? Every rapist might be a great friend to another person. Every person who indulges in domestic harassment at home might be a great colleague/friend at office. That doesn't give us the right to give them character certificates when a victim comes forward and speaks up right? To say I know this guy is incapable of this based on some few years of friendship (am not even know sure how many times all these ppl have met in these years) when you weren't in the same place & not privy to any facts is just downright insensitive & horrible. This goes to the entire industry. I hope they all learn from it and shut up the next time someone is accused and let law take its course (unless they were witness to the incident and know all the facts)

Yep..

She's my most fav. I remember being crazy about her... watching all her songs on TV... newspaper cutouts and what not. It was an era tbh. K was such a rage back then and she's still so successful solely coz of her hard work

I wouldn't trust anybody in such sensitive matters (my immediate family excluded). The basic thing one can do is stay mum...what most actors collectively did during that phase was utterly disappointing & ugly. I don't know what fandoms are doing, & I don't mean to jump on Erica.. bas kuch baatein yaad aa gayi uske insta post ko dekhkar😆
