Pari or Vidya?

Which is the better performance acc. to you??

When I sat down to watch Sherni, I did not think that the film/role would have the scope for Vidya Balan to really perform her tits off but gurlz I was wrong. She blew me away. I had to rewind several scenes just to see her artistry again. 😲

When it comes to Parineeti Chopra I've been rooting for her ever since she debuted and we were all banking on Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Thankfully we were not disappointed. The film itself was very well received and so was her performance. She was absolutely incredible in the film. Every nuance, every expression was on point. The abusive scenes are just so heartbreaking. She nailed them, and how.

These two are definitely up there as the best performances of 2021 along with the strongest contender: Kriti Sanon for Mimi. Top 5 will probably include: Sanya Maholtra for Pagglait and Taapsee Pannu for Haseen Dillruba.

Your first paragraph almost convinced me to watch it as I have the same opinion about the movie.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is one of my favourite films of the year. I think it's the only one I've watched multiple times. It's Arjun's best performance.

I haven't watched either film yet but will do at some point.

Parineeti was FABULOUS in Sandeep aur Pinky faraar. Vidya was earnest in Sherni but that's the best I can say about it; she doesn't stand a chance against PC in Sandeep.

Haven't seen any of the movies. But voted for vidya.

Hmm, I haven't watched either but might give Sherni a try, thanks to the rave reviews. The answer is easy for me cuz I prefer watching Vidya over Parineeti anyday!

Loved Parineeti in Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar. The best compliment I can give her is that I didn’t even feel like it was Parineeti in the film. I totally forgot about the talkative chirpy Parineeti. She was amazing. I haven’t seen Sherni but after reading all the praises for Vidya, it’s on my watchlist.

Would also love to see Sanya Malhotra get nominated for Paglaitt and ofcourse my darling Tapsee for Haseen Dilruba🤩❤️
