And yes it definitely sounds like she understands claiming (or actually having) mental illness helps keep her out of jail LOL

I think she's saying all those wonderful qualities in her that look like mental illness to others ( because they're jealous and spiteful) kept her out of jail because she's actually a very good person with principles .unlike you know who , who is in jail because his parents, and their colleagues are all evil and amoral ,even though they are sane.

Here is my reaction to the three insta stories

1) kinda see the point, but she's saying it all loopy

2) kinda makes sense, not completely cuckoo

3) Double take! WTF! This is the fast train to cuckooville

Some pleasant and thoughtful discussion in this thread so far. I agree with most of it. Yes, Hinduism is not an organized religion, in the sense that there is no central dogma or mandate. That is why many Hindu 'organizations' that try to speak on behalf of all Hindus bother me.

I think Ashley.Tisdale makes a good point that it's not really a religion. Most of our modern language and concepts around religion are based on western monotheism. Eastern religions like Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism, don't fit well into these words and concepts. There is no concept of an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent god, but varying philosophies on higher powers, the nature of the universe - duality/non-duality. Even atheists can subscribe to these faiths/belief systems. There is no looming threat of eternal damnation in these either, morality stems from a personal sense of duty rather than subservience to a higher power.

And it is absurd when certain Hindu 'organizations' try to cry for Hindu unity or speak on behalf of Hindus. As a Hindu who subscribes to the Advaita Vedanta concept of Brahman but doesn't believe in bhakti, a lot of what Hindu groups say makes zero sense to me.

It’s best to ignore her.

She might be making milder posts so that she doesn’t get banned completely from insta as well.

Yes, but I guess people then need to write logical things or the truth even if they do not mention her, because you cannot give manipulators and liars free space, even in this very forum people are accusing others of being anti nation -anti hindu-anti patriotic and using a bully victim card and all without merit. Just based on here say and what ever they understand from loons like her.

So you do agree that, while some of what she claims is in fact fact based (she did not invent it), she is clearly manipulating the information ad is a huge part of that group that is using "religion" with an agenda, a big example is that whole so and so actress cannot play this or that Goddess because so and so is more pious or follows it better. You see all that double speak confuses the heck out of most people including people of the same nationality (forget foreigners, those will never understand it in a million years).

I love the answer by Ashley Tisdale! I don't think I would have found it even on some knowledge-sharing website!

It is not just Kangana. A lot of Hindu 'organizations' and people are misusing the term sanatana dharma for their agenda. They will claim that Hinduism is a peaceful, sanatana dharma, that is inherently more tolerant and accommodating due to its lack of rigid doctrine. But then the language immediately after that is a call for anything but sanatana dharma - a call to unite under a doctrine/dogma, to exhibit rigidity in beliefs or customs, and lower tolerance levels.

I did? Why didn't anyone tell me I did. How embarrassing that I have been saying that I am a Hindu all this time.
