She's using that not organised argument to imply that Islam ( or any faith that she loves hating on ) is tyrannical . She thinks Hinduism is where she can have her cake and eat it too.
Wouldn't be very ladylike to repeat them 😆

PLEASE do elaborate and in advance THANK YOU. I hope some religion chat is allowed in the forum, in an effort to understand this trend of it being used to cause separation, hatred and manipulation. I understand the philosophy of Hinduism being a "way of life" or a family of religions as opposed to a single Episcopalian polity like Catholicism for example. BUT the fact that you can expand or, discuss or even talk about the Hindu philosophy is proof that it is not as "disorganized" as she claims, it may be tolerant and wide in it's guidelines and practices, but still there is a frame work around it, there are rituals and items that are sacred or part of the practice. I personally do not think it is the chaotic, everyone does what they think "new age" thing she is trying to make it. It fact you will have faithful experts argue that Sanātana Dharma's origins lie beyond human history. So i is ancient, and has survived due to its core beliefs.
She acts like she has invented or discovered it, and in a way has appointed her self the judge and jury of who is doing it correctly or not, further muddling it up by intermingling it with patriotism and politics, it is also debatable that it is self directed religion, when some religious leaders hold a lot of power over followers including some that she herself is trying to endorse into a position of power, based on religion.
At any rate I won't lie I consider her semi-literate and 100% evil so when I see some of these messes she posts I am always concerned, on how many people actually encourage or justify this incoherence she tries to pass as some deep knowledge (now even claiming she is a genius) or some random pieces copied and pasted (plagiarism) that she passes off as her observations One in particular that come to mind now was some poem or what ever that she posted about a year back and her brainless fans when on to claim she was brilliant, the line was about "how all rivers flow into the sea", but she did not mention to her fans that this is part of the Bible (Ecclesiastes 1:7)
Everything with her is incoherent, messed up, or manipulated double speak...and that to me is dangerous. Because Evil Manipulators and crazy people have different agendas but they are both dangerous.
Again thank you, in advance.
The problem with this woman is that she behaves like its her fundamental right to talk about Sanatana Dharma, irrespective of the context and whether its necessary or no. What she's said is not entirely wrong, but she brings it up on purpose...and most times the way she misuses words like "Hindutva"...that's why we're being called intolerant, even though Sanatanis have been the most patient of them all.
I'll just put a disclaimer here that I have been reading lots on this topic since one year, s o I am no pro, and if there are any mistakes, don't come @ me, instead pyaar se bata dena 😆. I might deviate a bit coz its like way too much content and I've still tried to be specific, but if there's something you don't understand or have a question, don't hesitate to ask.
Firstly, there is no religion called Hinduism. The word "Hindu" was used by civilizations towards the East (Ancient Persians and then Greeks) who could not pronounce the letter "S". So Hindus are actually the people who near the Sindhu river and the Sindh region. 😆
Secondly, the concept of religion is fairly new to the sub-continent. Because Sanatana Dharma by definition means eternal duties. Let me elaborate: no matter who you are or what you do, there will be certain responsibilities that you'd have to fulfil. If you're a student, your dharma is to study, if you're working, your dharma is to do your job well and earn money in the right way. At the same time, if you're single, then your dharma is to take good care of yourself, not go down any wrong path and support your parents. If you're married, then your dharma is to be able to balance your personal life in whatever way you chose...and I don't mean the wife should be cleaning, cooking etc, but to have a healthy marriage. So you get the idea.
Third: The final goal is to attain moksha and reunite with Brahman, which is something most Sanatanis aren't even aware of today, they'll say things "main Vaikunth pohoch jaau Krishna ke paas" or "Mahadev ki sharan mein marrne ke baad rahu"...but what they are talking about is moksha prapti only. For that, a person can follow anyone: it can be through gaining knowledge from the Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, or through Yoga, or following one or multiple deities or Bhagwaan ke avatars (Rama, Krishna) or devas like Ganapati, or focussing on energy solely a.k.a Adishakti and her avatars...or present day people read the Gita specifically. You can even be an aethist and be a Sanatani because like I said, its not about what you believe, but about what your dharma.
So there can actually be no "Hindu Ekta" coz people fight over stupid things like "Krishna is better than Ganesh" or "Durga Maa is the Ultimate"...they are basically roads created to reach your destination a.k.a moksha. There's something to learn from each and every one of them, and it entirely depends on whom you chose. Whomsoever you feel connected to the most or whatever concept you feel connected to the most you follow. Like kids love Ganpati Bappa because of his stories and his cute appearance or Krishna, with his maakhan chor, then there are older individuals who can be very detached and they feel a strong connect to Shiva etc etc. But that does not mean its disorganized, it means its that flexible.
Fourth: Sanatana has no one set book or rules to follow. Its not been created by any means. It is not doctored or tailored to fulfil an objective. It has evolved over centuries in terms of how its understood, like people of the Kaliyuga might never be able to understand the Vedas, given its complexity, that's why Krishna made the Gita for us. There is no concept of fear, if you've done something wrong then you will pay for it, basic rule of karma. There's no set language to understand it in, the Indus Valley Civilzation had an unknown, undecoded language but there were Sanatanis (there is actual proof, I am not making this up), then there was Tamil, Ancient Sanskrit, Vedic Sanskrit, split into various languages...and today I'm talking to you in Hinglish. 😆 And there's no way you can be made a "Hindu"...ask any Sanatani this question and they'll be like "hum toh paidaish hote hai, humein kya pata". But for those becoming Sanatanis today, the organizations agree to do like a small puja as initiation.
Fifth: There are way too many traditions that differentiate from family to family. We've all essentially come from Brahma, but because there have been multiple children, who've had multiple children...we forget that saying "humare ghar mein aise nahi hota" is essentially futile. If you trace back your ancestry you'd see. Based off your surname and even your mother's surname its easy to take it back.
Sixth: Sanatanis have always called a spade a spade. Raavan was also a Shiv Bhakt, his great grand-father was Brahma himself and he was a vey learned man. But voh galat tha toh tha bhai, baaki kitna bhi acha kyu na ho. Prajapati Daksha is not a liked being because of his arrogance, despite the fact that he was Prajapati. Shukracharya ko bhi kaun pasand karta hai...he was literal chaos even though his father was Saptarishi Bhrigu and grandfather is Brahma. The Pandavas have also been called out for what almost happened to Draupadi. Obviously those series of events had to lead to the Mahabharata, but jo galat hai usse bola gaya hai, irrespective of that person's personal belief. That's why there are no complications, because what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong.
Seventh: The concept of Bhagwaan is actually very vague yet specific. Because they were essentially beings with superhero like powers. We've been so hell-bent on focussing on the name and stories of the deities that we forget where the source all came from. It all started from what they call Hiranyagarbha, the cosmic egg which when split, released crazy amounts of energy...essentially Ardhanareshwar aka Shiva-Shakti, masculine and feminine, source of all creations. There are various discrepancies in stories, but the most I dug deep, I am sure its Ardhanareshwar because Shakti is essentially energy, who manifests itself into everything around us. Its Purusha-Prakriti: Purusha is the soul and pure consciousness, whereas Prakriti is what changes around us. Basically "energy cannot be created or destroyed, it only changes its form".
Eighth: Overall Sanatana is a series of philosophies that have to be understood (Vedas, Upanishads, Gita) which gets mixed with "History" to know what are good and bad actions (Puranas, Ramayana and Mahabharat). Those people who lived and walked on this planet in Ancient Times were way different and even advanced than us. Ancient Civilizations all over the world were Pagan, their deities only having different names and slightly varied concepts, now the only one surviving is "Hinduism" along with its branches Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism. The end of Kaliyuga will see some serious changes: how and what, I wish I live to see that. So Sanatana existed in the past in different forms. It will exist in the future in a different form(s). Some things will remain constant, some will change. But in its base, without all the religious politics, misinterpretation of scriptures, corruption of the Varna System etc, it is how you lead life and learn from the historical part of it.
I hope I made sense!
Well, Prime Minister me then. 😆
Let's really not give this woman any footage. She's dying to come back in the limelight after her twitter suspension and her raving mad appearances on Arnab post SSR.
Right now she ll use any controversy to bounce back from Thalaivi.

Very beautifully explained Ashley. Thank you. So much clarity re: the mythology aspects too.

Mythological tales always have History in them. Since it's happened so eons ago, there might not be enough direct proof but if you dig deep enough you'll find it.
She’s disturbed. What more you need to know 😆
What on earth 😆 can someone PM me if they ever end up understanding the third one?
