Even if he says that ..not necessarily he means it, we often say stuff when we are angry and hurt which we don't mean and raghav from day 1 has anger management issue, so may be in heat of the moment he said and he might even choose money over Pallavi due to his stubbornness and to prove him self right but action speaks louder than words, there are is enough evidence to prove otherwise, during entire Abhishek fiasco he kept saying I am not concerned about diamonds, his life is more important..

He was ready to die and kill for Pallavi..

He was ready to go to jail for thankless keerti..

And list goes on....

So yes because of his past experiences and traumatic childhood , he feels money is everything and money can buy anything and everything...mind u it's due to his money and power he blackmailed and forced pallavi to marry him, so it's his money , power and position which albeit indirectly is the reason for Pallavi being part of his life but even if keeps saying that, deep down he has always carved for love, be it love of amma and keerti or pallavi, it's his fear off loosing pallavi which comes from immense love for her that he choose to hide his tax evasion thing from her because he knew she would not understand ..

Also if his love for money is responsible for death of a person, then the same money saved so many lives including aai's. He is feeding so many people and taking good care of his employees and also running old age home..so for him love is, if not more as important as money.

And having gone through the the bad times, I feel, just my POV

he is right in his own way, real life doesn't work on moral science lectures, money may not buy u everything , but u need money to live a life.

Principles and ideals are good in book , but in today's world , where every thing works on bribes, u need to be a saint to not divulge from values and walk righteous path, and he has never claimed to be one..

Moreover he has this mindset, his perception based on his experience which cannot change over night...

Just like Pallavi has one , based on her experiences.

And just like she cannot change yet she is trying to understand him, she should not expect him to change completely , but try to understand her and both together should reach some middle ground....

yeah exactly

I agree, I think they both just need to understand each other

which can be hard since they are such different people

will take some time and effort!

we all know raghav will choose his family over anything, but his past has influenced his views on money

and Pallavi will have to help him get over it, or at least see that money is not everything

which raghav in a way DOES know, but he still does value it more than he should IMO

it's going to be interesting!

Yes it will be interesting , hope against hope that makers will handle the track properly...

And really hoping they don't show pallavi was right all the way and turn raghav into a saint at the end of the track..I don't want the makers to prove raghav was completely wrong because he is not...

If raghav needs to understand that money is not everything, Pallavi too needs to understand that money is important and life can't run only on principles and values esp in society like ours where even for vaccination we need to bribe people...

Raghav has proved over and over again that for him relationships matter more than money. He may just mouth those words that money is everything but as you’ve said his actions have proved otherwise. All his actions that you’ve listed out, willing to kill him self for Pallavi, going to jail for keerthi etc are evidence of this. That’s why Pallavi’s dialogues went like a bouncer over my head. Many were poorly written and I felt only cringe and nothing else. Even in the precap I believe he said that he values money, not values money over pallavi(hopefully it plays out that way) and couldn’t Pallavi have been a little more sensitive as to why he feels so about money considering she knows what he went through and why he does what he’s doing now? How could she call all that he did for her as drama and false? Really Pallavi? This guy never thought twice about blowing his brains out🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s his love that he showered her with always .His ethics and morals or rather his core has never ever changed and he’s proudly stated that he is like this only. Then how come she’s going on and on about I thought he’d changed ? My love changed him? Blah blah? In that respect if she expects him to change shouldn’t she also change meaning keep up promises made and not break them, and prioritise him and the Raos over the deshmukhs? Is this always going to be a one way street with him always giving and Pallavi always receiving?

I liked today's episode it does need clarity communication in both of their relationship. Raghav says he values money what it means in between lines not over everything, for him money comes above parents, friends, relationships. His motive in life is just to earn money not at the stake of upsetting or losing people close to him,

There is a saying that goes if you try to straighten an already bent tree branch, it will break. So, it is advisable to leave it alone if you still want to see the beautiful leaves or fruits it produces.

What I am trying to say is that, if you leave Raghav alone, he is old enough to decide what is right or wrong.

Maybe at this moment he is just making sure that he has the money to provide for his loved ones but a time will come and he realizes that money is never greater than love. And also that no money is enough.

But how does that money come into being? By putting themselves at danger of being imprisoned or, in the worst-case scenario (like Abhishek’s) losing their lives? Invading taxes is one thing, but recruiting young men is another. That's risky; instead of being defensive all the time, he should reconsider this.Raghav is correct; no one can be 100% ethically right every time , but Pallavi has observed the harsh consequences Abhishek and his family had to endure as a result of R's unlawful business by her own eyes and hence wants him to quit smuggling .

His obsession for earning money is understandable but his means and adamant stance on not modifying it ( specially after Abhishek’s death) is not okay .

And, as much as we deny it, Raghav has created a facade of turning good completely in front of Pallavi after his redemption (perhaps because he didn't want to lose her) by promising to pay custom duty and other things. (Hence constant dialogues like - you changed after marriage etc, Pallavi had this bubble and Raghav happily let her stay in there )

He not only concealed the truth, but he also broke a promise he made to her, which must have pained her. He kept it hidden because he felt she wouldn't get it, but did he try? Raghav needs to quit portraying or lying in front of Pallavi because of his fears. Not healthy for him, Pallavi, and their relationship.

Their relationship is still nascent, and given how they began, they have a lot of baggage and insecurities to go with. Love alone will not assure a happy marriage; Raghav must loosen up and trust the other party, as well as their dedication to the relationship. I always felt that his insecurities weren’t dealt with properly because of rushed confession, and I hope this track addresses and solves some of them.

Experiences that a person goes through in their childhood, have an adverse effect on the person in the after years of his life. Currently Raghav's stance and his opinion on money is justified according to me, as I have seen a similar phase in life and hold the same attitude towards money. Now the catch is that although Raghav values money over a lot of things in life he has a similar stance towards relationships as he has been deprived of them throughout his life. Even though he had his mother and his sister, they were not actually there. So for him, it is like money and relationships hold equal importance. This is where he differs from Pallavi. She values relationships more over money. And expects Raghav to do the same.

According to me what Pallavi needs to understand, is that she can never expect Raghav to have perspectives like her, as both of them are two different individuals, who have been conditioned by life in different circumstances. Also if she expects that he will mend all his broken ways just for her and because of his love for her, she is in a delusional world. Also Pallavi needs to try and understand Raghav a bit more considering how he understands her, and supports her. Their relationship clearly shows lack of communication. And that is the only reason she could not read between the lines of what Raghav sad to her.

Exactly.. instead of showing Raghav to be completely wrong, turning him to a saint..I hope makers show him trusting her and building their relationship on truth , right or wrong, just come clean, communicate with each other without hiding anything and finally understanding and accepting each other with their shortcomings and flaws....

Like Pallavi has accepted baba.. inspite of all wrong he has done..so why not raghav...why diff rules for diff person...

That’s why I am saying it’s unhealthy for himself first, then Pallavi and their relationship.

I don’t know what to expect from writers. Only leads suffer. Sandip must understand that Trp audience love seeing negative characters getting consequences , but here Deshmukhs and Sunny-Keerthi are the ones living peaceful lives .

RaghVi ‘s communication was USP but we haven’t got proper scenes like that , therefore their romantic scenes also seem like lollipops as there’s no proper flow in story due to lack of proper communication between the two.

Makers aren’t showing their POV properly for sometime now but give Sunny and Keerthi unnecessary screenspace , today’s episode was different, we got to know both Raghav and Pallavi’s POV on whole issue , I hope they continue showing their individual POVs and meaningful conversation scenes. We might get old RaghVi back on track .

Raghav not being saint is what attracts us to the character. He is not perfect, he knows it.

And Raghav is just being Raghav. If Pallavi takes "money over Pallavi" dialogue literally than it means that she still needs to know Raghav.
