She has always been like this. She uses an excessive amount of skin lightening, brightening, overdone exposure settings and beauty filters on her photos. She does the same with her daughter's photos.

She was so used to being called the most beautiful that aging is clearly very hard for her. It's the same reason why doesn't step outside without a mask of thick make-up on her face. She's also obsessed with looking fairer than she really is. That's why her heavy foundation is so noticeable because she uses a color lighter than her real skin tone.
