It was recognized as a Sid Mal film more than anyone elses at the time of release as far as I remember.

I remember saying to everyone last year that Shershaah could bring Sid back into the race. Happy to see all the praise and success he's recieving. It's a shame that Shershaah couldn't be released in theatres, it would have crossed 150 crores for sure and perhaps even 200. Sid always had a huge fan following even when he was giving duds, he can hopefully use this film as a launching pad for further success. Always good to see gentlemans like Sid succeeding.

I am still hoping Dharma would partner with Amazon Prime and work it out somehow to give this movie a theater release .

Not really. Riteish, Sidharth and the music, all were attributed for the success.

Was just having this conversation yesterday. I've a feeling a theatre release would still be appealing and a big hit.

Uri released twice and became as much a hit. I watched it 3 times
