A Wedding Weekend That Turned Into A Crisis

What was meant to be a celebratory weekend turned upside down on the morning of November 23. Just hours before the ceremony, Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, reportedly suffered symptoms similar to a cardiac episode. He was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli, where doctors kept him under observation.

With the situation unfolding rapidly, the families mutually decided to press pause on the wedding. Close relatives confirmed that Shrinivas has since been discharged and is recovering under supervision.

Palash’s Health Takes a Sudden Dip

Soon after the postponement, reports began circulating that Palash himself had been hospitalised. Initially taken to a medical facility in Sangli, he was later shifted to SRV Hospital in Goregaon, Mumbai, after experiencing chest pain and breathing difficulty.

His mother shared that the emotional pressure of the situation affected him deeply. According to her, Palash has always shared a strong bond with Smriti’s father, and watching him fall ill took a toll. Hospital tests including ECG and scans were reportedly normal, but doctors kept him under observation due to stress-related symptoms. His discharge has brought relief to both families, though no fresh wedding date has been shared yet.

Alongside the health updates, speculation online only intensified. Social media comments and anonymous posts questioned whether the sudden postponement was due solely to medical emergencies or to the alleged cheating accusations against Palash.

The fire was fueled when fans noticed that Smriti quietly took down her pre-wedding photos and reels, keeping only older posts with Palash intact.
